Is there something going on in Green Bay?

Trading up to take Love was a shock to me! I don't see Rodgers being ready to retire anytime soon so why did the Packers trade up to take him?

Did they see something that few other saw?

Is there trouble brewing with Rodgers? Did they send a message?

Looks like they want to recreate the Farve to Rodgers nightmare, hoping to squeeze out a Lombardi.

My Packer fan buddy was happy. He says Rodgers already wanted out, so they needed to find their next QB to give him a year to learn while Rodgers plays out his last season. Rodgers is under contract through 2023, but they can achieve cap savings by moving on after next season. I think we’ll see a trade then.

Even though the Favre/Rodgers ordeal wasn't that long ago, I think the NFL's use of rookie/young QB's has changed significantly.
