Packers may have to release Rodgers!

    I'm reading that due to NFL rules on placing players on IR Packers may have to release him

    This will be a huge test of whether NFL follows it's own rules no matter how dumb they are!

    My guess is they come up with some bs explanation to make an exception in this case

    They will get past the rule by saying he injured the collarbone again and the league will save face by not investigating further

    Yeah, they're not letting that happen.

    Another owner wouldn't do it to them either. Imagine trying to take advantage of something like that. What kind of waves would that make among owners?

    What would Rodgers do? Does he pop over and play his butt off for you next year? Or does his injury linger? Does he retire?

    NFL rules...that’s funny. We all know they are making crap up as they go anytime things get off script.
