First of all, Flacco is not good. His biggest weapon is the BS pass intereference calls he gets by simply throwing the ball 50 yards downfield and getting the flags. The DB's have to know this is the ravens' only offense and must be preapred for it. Can't just let the guy catch it, but we cannot be surprised by it. My guess is he/they try this at least 4 times Thursday with them getting the refs to bite on 2 of them. I hope I am wrong on that for sure but we seem to get screwed by the zebras in Baltimore more often than not.

If he gets 3, we could be in trouble. These BS calls are like turn overs, they will hurt you. If he is smart, he'll throw towards Ike, because he will know they won't be intercepted.

yep its their ONLY offense weapon
    Rice is done
I bet they try it more than 5 times
especially if they have early success with it

PI is a HUGE penalty in the NFL, it's just as good as a catch. I completely understand why they do it. Their QB has a big arm and they have a couple decent deep threats in Smith and Jones. I hope they try it a lot, because that means we're up on them by a score or two the whole game

The real question is going to be: Why don't the Steelers go deep more? Either they get a completion or possibly a PI.
The Steelers have gotten a few PI calls, now. With knowing that Brown, Cotchery and Sanders are deep threats, the refs may be willing to consider a PI when it is actually perpetrated by a Ravens DB.

You get tired of hearing about it, but aren't tired of it happening?

Flacco himself has said he tries to get them out there to get the pass interference. There's video of him on the sideline telling his recievers the same.

Given how Ike Taylor plays he would be smart to put it up there and take a chance. Ike gets very aggressive out there and the last couple years it's been a burden more than a benefit. Honestly though I'm way more concerned with the new read option the ravens are using with Tierod Taylor, it could prove to be deadly Thursday night.

Do you honestly think Flacco is the only one that does it?

Do I get to answer your question with a question? I've noticed Baltimore does it against us more than other teams do it against us. Our defense has struggled this year, but in years past we have been a brick wall, and they were helpless... until they throw hail mary after hail mary and pick up 50 yards at a time on incompletions. Sometimes it was a "good" call, other times it was a total rip off, but poor sportsmanship either way (shocking from a Harbaugh). Sometimes it seemed like their only form of offense against us. I find that frustrating. Almost as frustrating as when someone said out loud what happened, right?

By the way, I can't police your feelings so I won't tell you your analogy sucks, but here's something to think about in case you haven't considered it: the Ravens DO do this. It's not up for debate, it's not a mystery and only two people will ever know the truth. It's a fact. That's different from Ben's situation. Unless, of course, you believe Ben is a rapist. If you believe that and wish people would get over it like you wish we'd get over Baltimore's PI offense, then you should see a doctor.

Yeah, they do it. Do I like it? No. Is anything going to stop them from doing it? No.

Some people act like every time Flacco throws one deep he is hoping for a PI call. Do you know that is a fact? No, no one does.
