i agree, Tomlin, Colbert and Rooney, placated Ben and were negligent in their duty to find Ben’s heir apparent. Picking Rudolph in the 3rd wasnt a serious effort. Ben didnt run the team but they basically let him. Those three were negligent in their duty to find the next franchise Qb. We couldve been a contender these last few years. Instead we desperately go for an ancient Rodgers

 

when you have a franchise QB in place you don't spend a first round pick on another one. lamar is going into season 8 with baltimore and has never gotten them to a super bowl. even with arguably the best RB in the league. so mason and pickett didn't work out, does that mean all doom and gloom? no. should of would of and hind sight is easy to say but you never know what the next guy brings. lamar hasn't won them a title so i guess they should be drafting another one in round one every year. makes no sense. so a ravens fan doesn't get it.

 

Green Bay had Aaron Rodgers and drafted Jordan Love in the first round .

Yes, they couldve drafted Jordan Love or Lamar in the first. Ben was already on the downside of his career. He’d grumble and not be very friendly to the new first round Qb but really so what? Thats all hed do.

They’ll get their first round Qb in 26 probably but if they had done it earlier, they would've had more playoff success and not wasted Watt’s or Minkah’s prime.

I’m serious, i would've took Rattler in 5 rd last draft.
I get bashed for saying this, Rattler only been in league for 1 season. Gets called a scrub.
Yet, let’s get Darnold, one good season out of 8 , on a team that was loaded. Darnold still reverted back to his old self last few games of season.
Fields, how many years will it take for him to develop? Plus, doesn’t matter, he didn’t want to stay in the burgh.
