Plax was the 2nd Wr taken trying to take the number 1 job. They did everything they could to get someone better than Ward, only to find out Ward was the best.

 

At least if you are going to clap back, do it in either a comical way, or a way that makes sense. What do I have to do with 500??? Can't be because I like Tomlin....since even if you count in the playoffs he's not even close to 500, but again, I know math for You youngsters isn't very good anymore.....I've seen the results of test scores throughout the country.

It's only a different situation for people that can look back on history. If it was SUCH a different situation, people wouldn't have been calling for his head for so long, and if You want to remember it correctly, most never said he couldn't win playoff games , the constant complaint was He couldn't win the big games. Even after we had Ben, the internet blew up that night we lost to NE in the AFC Championship with the constant......See we had the best team in the NFL , and still He couldn't win the big game. Some of You people have just either chosen to forget, or have let what finally happened color Your remembrance of things. I spent all that night defending Cowher.

 

So? Plax was a productive WR in his 5 seasons with Steelers. Ward would be better than most of today's WRs if they let him play his brutal style of decapitating LBs and DBs.

 

Could have gotten Brady , on many rounds
Could have moved up, and gotten P. Manning.
Could have traded for many of Qbs.
Could have gotten Brady instead of Tee Martin...LoL

 

We could have drafted Brady that year, and still got many of our picks, including Plax.

 

30 other teams passed on Brady 5+ times in 2000 draft. Wasn't just Steelers.

So what's that mean , lots of people pass on many players, many times. Just look at how many teams passed on AB, on Bell, on James Harrison, hell on TJ Watt. Look at how many pass rusher were taken before TJ Watt.

I was in the minority of a lot of things, doesn't make me wrong. Mob mentality usually just means the stupid, easily maneuvered, and the most gullible. A big % of Germany at one time thought it was ok to do what they did, a big % of the whole world thought it was ok to own slaves.....does this make it correct???..
