Some seem to want to lump all our playoff losses into one big game. If you look at them individually, most of them come down to player execution. A few times we have been outmatched, but the majority of our playoff losses falls on the players. Whether it's INTs, fumbles, bad snaps, drops, missed tackles, etc...

Also somee like to forget the last time we had a real chance, injuries played a big part in that loss. Ben is basically on one leg, You lose Your Number 1 wr AB(who was also our punt returner at the time), our Number 1 RB Bell, and our Number 2 RB Arkansas boy Deangelo Williams , that's hard to overcome, plus the losses we had on D already by then, but no, it's because we were strategically out coached. Yet even with the losses, we were a fumble from a RB , I barely remember from winning that game against the SB champions that year.....LoL, but it's easier for some to just shut down their minds, and repeat a now type of mantra, like sheep.....bahaahabahaha

Speaking of repetition wow man. You cannot honestly tell me you are happy with this horse ****. Maybe some of you have just been beaten down so much that celebrating mediocrity is OK.

If you talk about the playoffs game vs Denver in 2015,nobody have complain about this loss much....It was a great effort by this team in a losing cause

Yea the lack of player development has nothing at all to do with poor coaching and schemes. Over a decade tons of different players but one constant. It’s not hard.

I don't let anger, happiness, or sadness make me not think, say stupid stuff, do stupid stuff, and lash out without thought....I learned a long time ago, that neither is your friend, and anyone that has any real training in combat sports can tell You this.

See what I mean?? Wouldn't it be more truthful, and easier to just say......I don't like M. Tomlin than to make up stories???.....because here is a short list to prove what you say is not truthful, and for anyone player you can give , I can match 3 the other way.
Hmm so Dupree, T. Edmunds (who many that believe PFF had rated better than Minkah) that now can't keep a job anywhere since we let him go, J. Harrison, Wallace, Ab, Bell, and many others that looked better here than after they left means nothing??? Hell You can even throw in Claypool, and DJ with this, all who had better careers here, enough so other teams wanted them, and now they can't stay on a team.
How about the two Qbs that came here last year Fields, and Wilson, that the majority of the NFL thought was done, and most didn't want, and yet after playing here, they both got contracts elsewhere. I guess none of that counts, and I will hear excuses of why our former players disappear, or are a shell of there former selves , but what we really know, without excuses and making up stuff is ......they were better here.

Yes, that is the last time I thought we had a real chance at a SB, not playoff wins, but a SB. I will say this until I'm blue in the face, I don't care about playoff wins, unless it's enough to make the SB.

I don't agree, but that's cool, I don't think the D was good enough to get to a SB then.

Patriots would have wiped us out again, if Steelers would've beat Jax/Bortles. We had nobody on D who could defend Gronk.

Dude, not skipping anything. Congrats we make playoffs and proceed to get blown out yr after yr.
Yes, I have gave Tomlin credit for his past success. Just time to move on.

True and we can see that for 2015 too if they would beat the broncos even if AB and Williams would been back....Remember in week 1 in 2015,Ketih Butler knew so much that the steelers had no one to cover Gronk that they put no one on him in some play:roflmao:

You can't say that , nobody can predict the future. That would be like saying that the Ravens, and the Bills will lose in the playoffs to KC, just because they have every time they've played them so far.
I still believe 2015 was our last great chance, and also NE barely beat us that year, at their house, and we had some starters out.

And for the 500th time if they move on, I will root for his replacement, but I keep asking this Question, and nobody will answer it. Name Me a team that has fired a HC that has taken them to two SB, and has never had a losing season, because I can't find one???

    Apparently it's hard for you.

You're saying the right words, just no understanding how they fit together.

    IF...players are not being developed.
IF...coaches don't know how to coach or scheme.

How do we keep winning games and making the playoffs? Even if you lose in the WC round, you still have to make the playoffs. 56% of teams don't, we do.

111-58-2 W/L/T for the past 10 seasons. Tomlin is coaching well.

Division standings last 10 seasons - 3 first place, 5 second place, and twice in 3rd place. Tomlin is coaching well.

The game would've likely been close like the regular season game was when Jesse James was robbed of a TD .

What does any of that matter? I’m pretty sure someone on this board told me that you either make the Super Bowl or you don’t. Being close with an injured team and losing because of a Fitzgerald Toussaint fumble is no different than being blasted by 50. Isn’t that right??

This game was in Pittsburgh....The steelers have never been competitive in New England in the Brady era

I'm sorry You don't see the relationship of that, since I said....the last time I thought we had a chance at a SB if You followed the whole conversation, not as a playoff winner. Maybe you didn't read the whole thing, I don't know.
I didn't say the last time I thought we could win a playoff game, but a actual SB......so in short , I don't see how You don't see the connection to what I believe.
I've seen many times I believe we could win a playoff game whether, we did , or didn't, but those post seasons mean nothing to me.
I'm telling You right now......I will not be modified by winning two playoff games this year, next year, or the ones after. I know some people will be, and I don't hold that against anyone, but that's not how I think.
Make the playoffs, and then make the SB. JMO ....so we are doing half of it correctly, and like most teams, we are doing the second part , not very well, but I suppose if someone is happy with being 3rd, 4th, or 5th in something, then they don't understand my way of thinking and that's cool. I don't hold it against them.

Nobody could defend Gronk. On any team. He may be the best to ever play that position. Getting beat by better than you, is just part of it. Learn to give credit to others instead of always just assigning blame.

Really, again the 2015 era, when I thought was our real last chance at the SB, I believe we barely lost to NE, in NE, and without Bell playing.
