Season is far from over, but if they can't close games like today they don't have a chance in the playoffs. I'd rather them miss then watch them get Passive when up by 4 to a offensive powerhouse

You should be rooting for the raiders. The Jets are 4-2. The Steelers need to take care of their own business when push comes to shove. So far they have not.

We'd have to depend on certain teams losing, and certain teams winning to make the playoffs (at least that's what its looking like). Not too much is in our control anymore. But such a good offense (on paper) and a decent defense stacked with turnover artists...what a waste of opportunity if the season goes bust.

Jesu Cristo! The season is 1/2 over! One half! 8 games played, 8 games to go! Playoffs?? Who's to say Carr won't go out with a knee injury?
Some people have too much time on their hands...........and blood pressure that's way too high.

The Steelers have never made the playoffs in a season where they lost to the Raiders

Um, no. Go check 1974, please.

They lost 17-0 early on - but went on to win the Super Bowl that year. In fact, they beat the same Raiders in the AFC title game 24-13- thanks in small part to a clutch defensive series in the 4th quarter by the man pictured to your left.

In 1977 they also lost to the Raiders, 16-7, but went on to win the AFC Central.

Regardless of the history this is a bigger game then Cincinnati game now
the Raiders are 4-3 where 4–4
A loss would put them three games ahead since they would own the tiebreaker and looking at their schedule it's pretty damn easy we have a much harder schedule

The 1-4 conference record is a bigger problem then the 4-4 overall one.
