Beyond Brown and Rogers we got nothing. There's not a chance in hell that Martavis Bryant isn't on this team next year.
DHB, Hamilton and Coates are not the answer and why the heck was Ayers inactive?

Good question... Ayers is better option than what we've seen from Coates and DHB since, at least, october
C Hamilton was in because of his blocking ability.

What do you think they'll do with Bryant?

Curious about Ayers I guess because Gilbert is now KR and DHB plays ST as well

It would be nice to give Ben a big target if green is done

After this bunch, they'll be at his mercy. AB is great, but we all know a star receiver is only as good as the teams #2 receiver.

I'd have sat Fitz then and dressed Ayers

Ayers must have really gotten in Tomlin's doghouse or something.

My question remains as to what Ayers did to get inactive?

Ayers should have been active, but I doubt that was the difference. This offense was crippled by the losses of Bryant and Wheaton, then even moreso by Green's concussion. Bell's injury left Roethlisberger trying to carry the offense with Brown and a bunch of backups. That just isn't going to get it done.

They needed Haley to adjust his game plan today and they didnt, oh and for some of these guys to step up and catch the ball.

I'm thinking it will be AB, Rogers and Coats for sure.

Wheaton will get an offer which he will most likely take since he won't be a hot commodity.

DHB, Hamilton and Ayers a camp battle.

Bryant is the unknown if he is clean, clear number 2 but to my mind he still seems like an addict who isn't listening to anyone about his habit.

Ah, but Bryant doesn't have great hands either.

we do need a legit #2 receiver with GREAT hands.

I'm thinking this Mike Joblin thing is some kind of an inside joke you're having with yourself?

Tomlin still having a HC job is the joke.

Who made the call on Hamilton and Coates playing instead of Ayers?

They need Bryant to come back and they need a trustworthy No. 3. At times, Rogers looked like that guy, but he also had some ugly moments.

One out of Heyward-Bey and Coates has to go. They are too similar, though Coates looked like he might develop into something early on.

I'm not happy with Coates and was upset Ayers was inactive. I like him... a lot.

Coates and Bey have the worst hands of any Steeler receivers I've seen since Limas Sweed.

By the way, if we're bringing a WR, please be someone who can handle the KR further than the 15 yardline...

Can anyone really blame Ben for trying to force it AB all the time. He's the only WR who can make the tough catches.
No way we don't extend Brown.

For all the talk of us being a WR farm we sure haven't shown it.

Brown, Bryant, Rogers and Ayers are safe at this point. We need a WR this year.
DHB,Coats,Hamilton and Wheaton can Go bye bye.

You must have not read the article that was posted on here. He's a talent, no doubt, but sounds like a selfish stats driven guy. Not a team player.

We have one of the best receiving cores in the league. Not sure what could have been different. Yeah, we had two big drops but it happens and shouldn't decide the game.

Their defense was better. I love how they run the bend don't break better than us and we have more talent. Why can't we copy them?

And we have risky play calling we live and die by. Last night it killed us.
