Looking forward to these guys starting fast next year. It was tough seeing Woodley start the season slow this past season (Which seems to be usual for him) and Harrison struggling to get back to form due to injury.

Does everyone think they will hit the ground running in week one, or will our pass rush struggle due to injury and lineup changes on the defense?

I'm sure Harrison and Woodley will be the same old (which is a good thing)...

I'm more concerned about Worilds. I'd really like to see him pushing for playing time, and showing us that he will be ready when Harrison is done.

Suppose he is ready to replace Harrison right now. Does that mean he should be pushing for playing time? Not if Harrison and Woodley are the same old, as you said. At his best Worilds will never be that good, and that's not a knock, it's just a fact. He was never expected to be that good.

It's one thing to expect him to rotate if those guys need a breather or get hurt, but I don't think we can expect him to "push" either one of them, until Harrison starts to really go downhill, which hasn't happened yet.

I think having Harrison back after an offseason dedicated to strengthening rather than healing is going to pay huge dividends. I'm excited to see both him and Woodley on the field again together at 100%. I'm totally comfortable with our backups in Worilds and Carter.
