Our new MB home - proof in the numbers

The steelers official message board is still my home, been there too many years to just walk away. I do like this board. I think TTF did an outstanding job putting it together and managing it. Its sad so many fans were denied use of the other board and even sadder Grannieburgh can't post there for some reason. I hoping since they've fixed the buttons maybe they'll revamp the board but who knows. Even if they redo it and make it really great I'll still visit here.

Glad I stumbled upon this board after leaving a few. One closed down (Gil's) then my friend CP created one but poster participation dwindled unfortunately.

Thanks TTF for the forum for us diehards to come and talk Steeler Football

 

I actually mailed (yes with a stamp) the Steelers front office and asked them to fire their IT guy for incompetence on the old board

Instead it was shut down

 

That this board is still up and relevant is a testimony to the dedication of the admin. and posters. With so much competition in media many of these old boards have withered away. I still find this a good place to spend some time, bs about our beloved team and not take to seriously the entangled arguments that ensue.

 

I hope you included a phrase including “<bad word>”

One of the worse I ever participated in was stillers.com. I doubt they even have a message board anymore.

 

Just checked. Nope. Fan Forum is gone.

 

It wasn't until this MB started that most of us ever even heard of Dick Shiner. LOL

 

It is the first time I'd ever heard it called that....

 

As a proper noun/name, it's been used a fair amount in these parts; as an action verb, anyone's guess.

 

Now that would be a real crazy blend. +
