I made a minor mistake. My sincerest apologies for not hanging onto every ounce of drivel you spew on this board. You wanted Adams, a Rookie,Pouncey, DD, Beachum with Gilbert as the swing, Maleki(sp?), and two more rookies as the backups. I want solid backups and you want to gamble. Shear brilliance!

 

who are these solid backups you speak of? colon? foster? starks? by the way if you don't like the drivel i spew don't friggin read a hole.

I've got no problem with any of them being brought back as backups. For two reasons 1) they're no where near as bad as you make them out to be 2) they already know the system. With that being said if Starks comes back and beats out Gilbert or Adams that's fine too. We need depth and those guys provide that and do so well. You're plan of practice squad fodder and two unknown players makes the oline a serious issue.

you seem to think the play of starks,colon and foster are good enough for this team. i don't see all these can't miss results these guys have put forth. it's laughable.

i will wait and see if kevin colbert seems to think they are who we need to win with. then i will bow down to your infinate wisdom.

i'm sure all 3 are biting at the bit to come back as backups like you want. i hope we have no injuries either because we will see more of what we saw this year. wow thats what i want more of. your a genius.

 

It's pretty clear what you see, nothing at all. We've all read your claims that Starks was responsible for Ben's injury even though it was Adam's(and ben holding the #@#@ ball). You also don't see the sacks and pressures that Beachum gave up in his starts. Beachum might get better, but he also might not. We've got 4 whole games of him playing. That's way too small of a sample size to gamble without a real backup. Why did the Steelers bring back Starks last year? Because they had to have a 2nd option at LT, a backup. You're hoping that Adams is an improvement at LT, Beachum will be an improvement at LG or RT, and possibly an unknown rookie will be an improvement at LG with maleki and two more unknown rookies as the backup. You can call me mr. wizard, ace, ahole whatever you want, but your plan is nothing short of foolish.

Of course they're not chomping at the bit to be backups. There's not a player in the NFL that would prefer to be sitting on the bench.
