They are a one dimensional team, Lebeau will have a scheme to contain the run and force Tebow to throw. I like our chances this week regardless of our offense vs their defense. Seems like that is less of a mismatch than Tebow vs Troy and company.

Our defense is built to stop the run, and not give up the big play in the passing game. We let opposing QBs dink and dunk and play the odds that they will not be able to dink and dunk all the way down the field without making crucial errors. While this is a dangerous strategy against a elite dink & dunk kind of QB, it's perfect against a team whose offense relies on the run and big plays in the passing game to score point. In other words, our base scheme is PERFECT for Sunday's game. We don't have to do anything different than what we usually do on defense. We should see 3 turnovers and maybe even a defensive score for the good guys.

Guys who haven't played a large role in our defense for most of the year will be crucial on Sunday. Timmons and Farrior will need to step up and fill the holes. Casey Hampton, Ziggy Hood and Keisel will all be vital. Occupy the Oline to allow the LBs to make the plays. When it comes to the secondary, I expect that Troy will be up at the line...a lot, and that we will play a lot of zone cover 3 when playing the run and cover 2 in clear passing situations. It wouldn't surprise me if we hold Denver to 10 or fewer first downs on the game.
