Will all the players show to phase in the new offense and defense on our quest to fill up the other hand with rings?

I think all players will show up, except rehabs and of course baby bell will be a no show, screwing off pouting about his contract....

I may be in the minority here but I have no problem with Bell not being at OTA. It’s business. He doesn’t have a contract. There is a risk of injury. No upside for Bell. Potentially, a lot of downside.

All players not named Bell will be showing up for certain.

Intriguied to see what Fichtner has in store for the offense; same goes for Terrell Edmunds capabilities no less.

Bell will be holding up the offense. We will see who else shows what they have. This will be a huge time for Conner as well. Can he go yet? How effective will his cuts be? Has he learned to pass protect? Who may pass him by if not?

DHB? Hunter? Henderson? Samuels? Hunter? Someone else? Who is going to earn these last spots?

Who will take the step as the Swiss army knife on the o-line?

    D-Line?
Defense will be an interesting watch this time around.

So you know he has one year left.. Is he going to play hard or play not to get his acl ripped up... and ruin his next contract?
He is a waste of time...

You can't really play the position cautiously.....he is playing for a contract so I would think he would want to showcase himself

He has a contract, he just won't sign it. there's plenty of players in the last year of their deal or signed to a one year deal that will be at their teams OTA's and camp. The guy is a huge clown.

    Yep.

Joshua Frazier is someone I am so looking forward towards reading about in the coming days. Alabama's defensive lineman come in the draft as ready for the NFL as one can be. Furthermore, Frazier is only 6'4 but contains 35 inch lead pipes for arms; superb for an interior Nose Tackle.

However, now that the general focus of this draft has become clear, I wonder if Frazier is more than just a "Shade Tree" replacement as we are likely to lose L.T. Walton come next season. If that is to be the case and when "Shade Tree" goes as well, keeping the likes of Frazier and Greg Gilmore from LSU would be solving two equations with one solution should Gilmore perform well at OTA's and into the Pre-Season.

Gilmore had a lot of production in college. I'm not sure a couple of guys may not be in trouble if these guys produce a great camp. Let's face it the run stopping production wasn't very good. Alualu had a good year. Cam had a good year. The rest had OK years. I like our front but it could do better as run stoppers. Our new coach may make a difference as well.

I think he's taking a big risk by NOT signing his contract. If he signs and gets injured at OTAs or training camp and he's out for the season he still gets paid. But get injured like that before signing the contract and he can kiss all that cash goodbye!

Depends on the injury. If he gets a career ending injury in OTA, he gets that 1 year. Same during the season but why add the unnecessary risk?

OTAs are voluntary, contract or no contract players don't have to show up .

Semantics here. He has an offer, not a contract. Until he signs he is not obligated. Players in the last year or one year are obligated. They also have something to prove for the next contract. Bell does not.

Non the less, “the guy is a huge clown”.

NO ONE is obligated to attend OTA's - NO ONE. Brady and Gronk aren't so far. And, call me a clown all day if I am pimping $14 mill a season.

Seriously, you thought players were obligated to go to OTAs? You didn't even know they weren't. Did you just start following the NFL?

I hope that Conner does so well in training camp he gets the no 1 spot this year. And no, I'm not joking.
Do I think it will actually happen? Not really...but that's why I said "hope."

Bell is a fantastic RB no doubt about it but he's a lousy teammate that took 4 games to get up to speed last year because of his holding out. He knows the Steelers aren't going to budge and that he'll sign so...man I hope Conner gets the no 1 spot, kicks butt and Bell has to sit.

This is why I wanted them to take a RB fairly high - Bell is a known douche and will be gone after this season, plus is due to get hurt. Conner is NOT an every down back in this league due to his style and getting hurt if the wind blows. We will need a legit bread and butter back or we risk not winning a ring this year, but they did nothing but stick their hands in their pockets in this area. Conner is unlikely to be healthy after 1-2, 20 touch games. He will get hurt.
