Seahawks looked great when they kicked our ass on our home field.... in what week 2? No jet lag for them. They looked Super Bowl caliber all season long.

Did you read the whole quote, or are you just looking to argue??
Did you have Seattle in the SB last year at this time, were they one of your "elite " teams ?. LoL Also If KJ doesn't let a ball bounce off of him on a kick off, and not recover it,and our own Wr doesn't tip the ball away from our TE in the endzone, it could have been different, but I digress, I forgot you had Seattle last year as one of Your "Elite " teams . LoL

If Rodgers gets injured then Will Howard will be the starter. If Howard gets injured then the season is over anyway. I would rather give Allar a shot to finish the season and get some experience rather than bring in Rudolph who might win a game or two more than Allar would. But what's the difference between the team going 4-13 under Allar or 6-11 under Rudolph other than hurting our draft position and not having our rookie QB get experience.

Honestly, I thought Bengals and Bills were gonna be in AFC Championship. I was wrong on both counts.

I picked the Ravens and Bills for like 3 years in a row but I really think that both their windows have closed for being a Superbowl team. They will remain good teams that will win a playoff game or two but I think their time has passed.

Allar was hand picked by McCarthy he has the traits he said that he liked in a QB, you really think he's going to put him on the practice squad .

I kept trying to tell you guys the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens weren't locks to be the top seeds in the AFC last year.

Bengals are 1000-1 to win the AFC. $100 to win 100k?

Seattle had 60-1 odds before last season to win the Super Bowl, I think they're going to miss RB Kenneth Walker.

    Newbie betting mistake.
    +1000, does not mean a 1,000 to 1. IT means 1,000 to $100

In sports betting, odds of +1000 mean that for every $100 you wager, you will win a profit of $1,000 if your bet hits (resulting in a total payout of $1,100

Current Bengal line: AFC Championship Odds: +1000

IF you bet $100 on the Bengals to win the AFC Championship you would win $1,100. (Your $100 bet plus $1,000)

FYI: The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently priced at +3300

how do you know he was hand picked? it may have been carson beck but they missed on him.

they are considering keeping 4 too. allar is at the bottom of the list.

he also hand picked 9 other guys and not all will be on the 53.

I keep hearing this hand picked theory but no one seems to say why Beck was brought in. Truth is no one knows what their board looked like on draft day.

So what if Beck was gone it still means McCarthy hand picked Allar, even if they had Beck was rated higher then McCarthy took the next guy. Mason isn't a lock to be on the roster come opening day.

Not only is Mason not a lock to make the team, unless there is an injury to one of the other 3 QB's he has zero chance of making the team.

Also, so happy to hear that Yahya Black is practicing at NT today. No idea why Tomlin and Austin fought this move all last year.

Agreed. Also the 2027 draft class is probably going to be strong at QB.

That sounds like asking a girl to the prom and when she says 'no', you end up going with your sister..... after all, she was handpicked. :lolol:

i don't think anybody is a lock at this point. does MM put all his eggs in a 4th stringers basket? puts it on the line for potential? just because he coached him a couple of days in a rookie mini camp? what has this 4th string guy done to warrant a spot on the team? what does this say to the other guys trying to make this team if the coach plays favorites? have we seen allar take over any higher spot?

Yes. Unless he makes huge strides in camp, I expect that’s the plan. I also expect that if, during the season a QB ahead of him on the depth chart goes onto IR, we will bring in a vet to protect Allar from needing to play before he’s ready.

probably have to draft a 1st and 2nd round QB next year too to protect allar until he's ready. :smiley1::cool:

Because Black wasn't good when playing NT, he played better when he was at DT.
