Sayin is playing so well it would not surprise me if he enters the 2026 Draft. He likey won't. Just saying...

Altmyer has impressed me. He is a high IQ type and processes the information in a 3 second window very well. He completes the " big throws " ie 7+ yards down the field and throws well outside the pocket. He has 12 TD, 0 Int this year. He can move a bit.

The kid is clutch leading many game winning drives. His arm looks about a 7 out of 10. Good, but not very good or great. But his accuracy and layering of the ball on all three levels, and the velocity he puts on it when necessary, are impressive. As is his 10.6 yards per pass. Can you name an Illinois receiver projected to go into the first four rounds of the NFL draft? Neither can I.

The talent around him is just mediocre, meaning he shines due to his own efforts.

Right now he isn't on the radar or draft pundits, but if he plays well vs. the loaded and well coached OSU, he will skyrocket up the draft charts.
