Yes they would have seen him next door, not a bad player. Just can't stay on field.

 

not my first choice. he is a decent player. not a road grader type though. run game is probably his weakest point. if moore isn't re-signed after this year or they make a move with him we will need some people in the pipeline. they do have a lot of tackles back from the PS from last year. there are many out there that could be had in the later rounds. some very capable players and goncalves being one option. they seem to like familiarity. well at least used to.

 

Interesting note: The top draft eligible interior defensive lineman (dt, nt) that JPJ has faced this year is rated #385 in this year's draft. Van Pran-Granger in the 2nd is growing on me if we can get a tackle in the 1st. Yeah, he has short arms, and yeah his stock has been falling like a rock, but he's faced the top interior d-line in the country for 3 years.

 

Starting to see a lot of Mock drafts with JPJ going to the Steelers in the 2nd round now.
