They need to be 3-5 at the bye to have any shot to do anything after the bye week. 3-5 should put them worst case two games behind both Baltimore and Cincy who I think could be around 5-3 or 4-4 themselves at that time, and the Browns will probably be around 3-5 as well at that time looking at their schedule. That will at least still give the Steelers a pulse after the bye seeing they would still have the 1 home game left with Cincy, the two games with Baltimore and the one home game with the Browns. The bottom line right now for the Steelers is their margin of error for games they can continue to afford to lose if they wanna stay in this race after the bye ended today with this loss to the Bills. I think they need to win these next 2 games with Tampa and at Miami if they wanna have any hope of still being in this division race after the bye week and playing any meaningful games for that matter in November.

You can’t fall to 1-5 or 1-6 and get back in any kind of division race it won’t happen. They have to start winning games and it needs to start next week with Tampa at home or this team is gonna be completely eliminated by Halloween for essentially everything.

With the injuries on D and overall state of this offense/team in general no way we are beating Tampa next week. Miami if Tua is still out possibly?

My original prediction was for an 8-9 record but I guess I was not living in my fears when I came up with that record

Yea beating Tampa is gonna be hard with Brady but they haven’t looked really that great and being here at home that at least makes that a winnable game and so does Miami seeing they have huge QB problems with both Tua and Bridgewater both having concussions. I’m not saying they will win both but both games are winnable I think and if the Steelers wanna stay in any sort of AFC North contention moving forward they have to most likely win both of these next 2 games.

With a rookie QB and a crap coaching staff I don't see how this team wins more than 6 games tops.. And thats being optimistic
