    Defensive coordinator meeting

“So we know Ben doesn’t have much time in the pocket, and he relies on pre-snap reads”

    “Agreed”

“So we give him a pre-snap look that clearly indicates who the open man will be, some short crossing route or short pass to the flat, but then right at the snap we switch to defend that.”

“He won’t have time to adjust or no one else will be open anyway.”

“On third and long just defend the dump-off to Harris. He’ll overthrow anyone open deep 80% of the time, if he has time to throw at all”

“On running downs, everyone crowd the LOS and stuff Harris for just a yard or two”.

“If they do happen to get a big gain, don’t worry - there’ll be a holding penalty.”

    “Easy peazy”.

    Offensive Coordinator Meeting

“Double team Watt on the edge for the 50% of plays he will be there, and watch him out of breath on the sidelines for the other 50%”

“Run up the middle since their starters there are out”

“Our QB can stand in the pocket for a while to survey the field - someone will get wide open, and not just NFL open”

“3rd and long is nothing to worry about - there’ll be someone open about 15 - 20 yards downfield.”

    Special teams

“The refs are on our side. There’ll be a penalty on any big play.”

Funny, Don't forget on 4th down the Steelers like to run that swing pass for negative yards.

Put 10 in the box. Steelers can't throw more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and most of their passes are for 0 to -5 yards anyway.

How far we've have fallen. I remember when teams feared playing the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now they probably take Fridays off to spend more time with their families.

But hey Tomlin asks the players how they are doing and how's life! I mean he is a good guy to the players and they like him. Neither care if football is involved in these discussions.
