Opening Week

Wk. 1 is taylor made for us to win.... Arthur Smith was their head coach.....
With the exception of kirk Cousins, Smith knows the Falcons inside and out... he knows each player's strengths and weaknesses, and how best to attack them... and the book on Cousins has always been to get in his face

 

Especially with Cousins coming off an Achilles injury, they need to put a lot of pressure on him, Atlanta does have some pretty good weapons on offense.

 

Not if Paul Skenes has anything to say about it

 

Sadly he is only one man. Pirates have good starting pitching and will have these guys next season. We need BATS to go along with them.

 

I knew we were opening in ATL. Local sports radio there were all over it on Sunday Draft weekend.

 

Do we know that Cousins will be back playing for sure by then???

 

He told the media recently that he will be ready for the season opener FWIW.

 

Exactly. I've been doing this for years, first with NFL GamePass, then NFL+. I just have to make sure everyone knows I don't watch the games live to avoid spoilers. I certainly get a different experience reading the gameday threads here after the games are over rather than as they are happening.
