One play call stuck in my head from Sunday

When we was in the red zone and it was 4th and 5 ish , we turned it over on downs ,

but why did all 3 receivers on the left side of the field (same side Kenny rolled out to ) all run routes into the end zone when technically we just needed 5 yards to convert to 1st down ?

that’s just a stupid play call for that situation

 

Yeah I commented in the game day thread that no one was short. Basically just ran straight into a big mess in the end zone. The throw looked awful though, but I don't recall a good replay angle

Typical Canada call. Just run downfield and Pickett will find a way to get it to you
