One good thing about the tie

    None of the tiebreakers will matter. Of course, looking at the Steelers level of play and their remaining schedule, I'm not sure tiebreakers would matter. But now they definitely won't. So losses to the Raiders, and Bengals no longer matter and wins vs the Broncos, Browns or Bills no longer matter in a tie scenario.
