The 7th seed are 0-6 overall in the playoffs....Will the Steelers become the first 7th seed to win a playoff game?

The Bills have won their last 5 games, but they have won by 7 points or less in 4 of their games, so it's not by domination,outside of the Dallas game

 

I actually think we can beat any team in the AFC. Baltimore is a far better team than we are, but we seem to have their number. The rest of the AFC is very flawed.
The NFC is a problem, but not one we have to worry about until the SB

 

If the Steelers can put up about 150 rushing yards they have a great chance at getting the dub.

 

Perfect time for me. Sunday at 6pm. Better than the last play off games we've had where it's been 1am.

 

Watching the Bills-Dolphins game, first thing I noticed was just how fired up Buffalo were. We CANNOT turn up there half awake.

It will be difficult without Watt but there’s also a chance that ironically we might end up with better pass rush opportunities if they aren’t doubling Watt. Herbigs time to shine…

 

Tough matchup. An ugly bad weather game where both teams struggle to move the ball in the air would undoubtedly suit the Steelers, run it at them 25 + times with Najee and hope the turnover battle goes our way.

Playing with house money in any case as somebody else said, nobody will expect the Steelers to win, especially without TJ.

 

Steelers are poised to make a deep run Mike T has them peaking at the right time. The playoff run we have all been waiting for is about to begin!

TJ will be fine no way he is missing this game he has never won a playoff game in his career.

It really has always been about the running game, I had posted thruout the year a good running
game will help a young qb, help the defense with TOP. Play action opens up. I guess I have to wonder after
early OTA's, 6 weeks of training camp, and 8 weeks of regular season play that the O line were finally blocking for our RB's..
I hope they keep pounding it, it is a model for success.

I agree He will throw to the other team if pressured, I also wouldn't let him kill us with
his running ability. We will have our hands full.

 

His running ability is the key. If we can keep him in the pocket he will make mistakes. When he starts breaking your back with third and long runs it opens up other things. TOMLIN will have this figured out though that’s why he is who he is.

Shoot, I wanted to go to KC but more important I wanted a 4:30 Saturday game. We are really tough in that time spot.

 

The Bills should be a good matchup - they’ve struggled a bit with consistency this season, even with a current five-game win streak.

The weather helps the Steelers and their suddenly elite running game. Keep the ball on the ground, limit turnovers and let Mason do what he’s been doing. The loss of TJ is the biggest issue here.

I think we see something close, like a 20-17 game.

 

Sunday, 1/14- weather- high of 23F. Cloudy and windy. Expect it to be a little icy, as the temp is going to drop from a rainy and windy 40 on Saturday.

Could easily devolve into a ground and pound game.
