How is it the NFL's fault if the network doesn't want to preempt a yearly televised tradition? One event happens once a year, the other every week for 15 weeks.

I wonder if there has ever been a Wednesday game in the NFL????? Messing with my soaps. Just kidding, I like the start time. Golf and then Steeler football.

Cool 3:40! I hate the night games. Just hope Dupree doesn't get juked another 4 times by Griffin 2 1/2.

I was hoping for a week 18 and then moving all the remaining games and Super Bowl. But, here we are...

I'll have to watch first half from work. Sucks that Ravens get most of their players back.

I'm most pissed about the Washington game being moved to 5 p.m. on Monday. The hell? Somehow, the Ravens are still primetime on Tuesday. Malpractice by the NFL. Pittsburgh does nothing wrong and gets the shaft while the Ravens are babied, given an extra day to practice, gets players back, AND still gets a primetime game. I mean, what?

The NFL screwed the pooch on this one from the very beginning. If they are worried so much about getting revenue then call up any other network and offer the game instead of worrying about impeding a lame Christmas tradition. Put the game on ABC, CBS, ESPN or ESPN 2. I guarantee they will get more revenue from a Ravens Vs. Steelers game 8 pm start than they will from a lighting of a Christmas tree that is probably only viewed by people 70 years or older. If there are contractual issues then hire any decent lawyer which could easily laugh it out of court from all the changes that have already taken place.

I have to miss it entirely cause the NFL can't get their head out of their own A$$.

Yes there have been several first one since 2012 when the Thursday Opener was moved and the game was played on Wed. to not be going on the sametime as the Democratic National Convention.

Because of blue laws, the Steelers played their first four games in 1933 on Wednesdays.

I did see that back in 1933 when Moby Dick was a minnow.

I'm sure that was a television issue. Baltimore-Dallas was supposed to be a national, prime-time game. This allows the network to keep it. Pittsburgh-Washington was supposed to be a regional Sunday game. I just hope it does end up nationally televised. Then again, I'm done with work well before 5 p.m., so that's easier for me.

My issue is tomorrow. I've got work until 4:15. I'm going to have to DVR it and catch up.

I do feel bad for you guys who get screwed but for me it's great. I love the starting times. I have trouble with the 8:30 games.

I’m not seeing the game listed on tv in the Greater Philadelphia viewing area.

As long as the Monday game is nationally televised, I don't really have a huge problem with the new start times. Getting the DVR to work for the Wednesday game might be tricky if my service provider doesn't update the schedule. Right now, it still shows the game being on tonight.

That is some small consolation in this, that most of us will be able to see the Washington game live. That said, I would happily sacrifice that to avoid the Steelers getting screwed from a competitive standpoint.

Tomorrow's start time reminds me of when I was in Hawaii. We had to tape the games and then watch them when we got off from work.

Is the 15 weeks a prophecy for the 2020 season? Or did you base it on HeinzMustard's theory that the Steelers aren't ready to play the first two weeks of the season?
