There is no doubt you have a higher % of immediate starting quality in the higher rounds, but to routinely dismiss picks in the 5th and 6th and even as he suggested the 4th is insane. I do not know the percentage, but when you consider 'busts' Im sure there are more in the first 2 rounds, simply because the expectations are greater and the level of play often does not meet the level of play. The later rounds you not only find those hidden gems, but the backbone for the team. Special teams, role players, back ups. I get the use of a point system, but when its all a crap shoot, having the picks in volume is more important than rolling the dice, trading those picks for one pick that has a 50% chance to be a bust.
