    Let's go get a top 10 prospect:
    Paris Johnson
    Broderick Jones
    Christain Gonzalez

I’m pretty sure every gm is open to trading up in the first round. It’s a matter of who is available that fits your scheme and the cost. Hell that dip**** Ditka traded an entire draft for Ricky Williams

I’m always most interested in trading down. For the first time in a long time I want to move up, specifically for Paris Johnson.

I would rather never trade up. But if I were to, it would be for someone like Jalen Carter. A potential Probowl DT prospect.

P Johnson isn't that in my opinion. I'm not sure he is the best Tackle in the draft. Granted, if I had a choice of all the tackles, I'd pick him based on the overall mixture of great character, positional versatility, leadership intangible, measurables and decent floor.

But Broderick Jones has a higher ceiling, Skoronski is far superior technique, and Darnell Wright is stronger and has more experience as a tackle and it shows. I rank all 4 similarly with difference depending on preference.

For me Darnell Wright is the best of them but has played far better as a RT than LT. That might just be a fluke thing. But on tape he looks a better tackle than Johnson. B. Jones is the most athletic of them. And with coaching may become the best. Skoronski has length and power issues. Other than that he is a technician of extremely high quality.

I literally will take any of the 4 at 17. I pray that's the Steelers approach too. And I think it might be.

    Here is my prediction

    17. Tackle Darnell Wright or Broderick Jones. Depending on which is available.

    32. Will McDonald or CB. But if Will McDonald is available at 32, he will be the pick.

    49. Julius Brents, Kelee Ringo or Tyrique Stevenson. But if Corner was taken at 32. Then Edge (Ojulari, Uzomah Hall, maybe Herbig)

    80. Center or Nickel/Safety: Whypler, Tippmann, Stromberg or Quan Martin, Sydney Brown, Malik Housman etc

    120: DLine or LBt

    241. QB

    251. Special team pock ( SS, WR, LB, DL)

    This is what is expect.

Jmo but I would keep 17. And and then move back to 35 or so for a 3rd and a 5th

I mentioned this before they will probably trade #32 to recoup picks for trading up from #17.

I think Aaron Rodgers just put the #13 pick in play for the Steelers.

Steelers move up to #13 pick for their #17 and 3rd round #80, giving the Packers back a pick they Lost in the Aaron Rodgers Trade.

we move past the Patriot and Jets who are both looking at the LT position in their draft.

I read a snippet of a article yesterday supposedly an unnamed Gm said there was only 15 players in this year's draft worth drafting in the first round.. Maybe Kahn is moving up to get 1 of the 15....;)

I don't think the Bears are moving down again. They have already disappointed their fan base giving up the #1 overall pick in the entire draft, so I don't think they could move down even further and get someone completely off the books; And my money says it going to be an offensive tackle at #9.

If the Bears want the ultimate feather in their cap they move up a few spots and get Jalen Carter, and then claim he was their #1 pick all along

I don’t like the idea of moving up. But if we do it should be for a sure fire Pro Bowl type player. If we are moving up for potential I would rather stay put and keep the draft capital. I don’t see any of the OT’s as being sure fire players. Perhaps Christian Gonzalez and Jalen Carter are but that is about it.

I agree with most of that. And it's why I don't understand why anyone wants to trade up for him. What, I believe ( and I think this is the general consensus) is that all the tackles have flaws. It's why they are all rated in the teens to twenties. If they were flaw free types they'd be top 10 players.

Had Skoronski ben 2 inches taller and had arms that 2 inches longer. He'd have been a top 10 prospect. But he doesn't. So we should simply hold tight and take what's There.

And by that, I mean Darnell Wright:p

to be honest if i were to take one and move up, two inches here or there be damned, i take skoronski. his technique is so refined and at worst we have an all pro center, tackle or guard in a year or two.
