I believe cut down days are very important for a good GM

The Aiyuk trade isn't likely to happen, but he needs to add to the CB room slot and outside. Or maybe a veteran center and WR.

They were letting Mason McCormick play center in that last preseason game.

Stephon Gilmore just signed with the Vikings 5 days ago.

I am still waiting to see if Mike Hilton is a last minute cut, and where WR Michael Thomas signs. I also still think JuJu will land with Kansas City before the season starts.

Not happening! You really feel good about paying him $28 million per year and giving up a 2 and 3 rd draft pick? Keep him in Cali with you.

    Kahn is probably shopping for:
    1. Veteran backup OLB
    2. Veteran backup DL
    3. A CB to fill in until Sutton comes back
    4. A rotational WR

Also, I think Steelers are going to stand pat on wr situation. I think Fitzpatrick makes the cut as a gunner on st and a candidate for our 5 wr.

I hate to be bearer of bad news… Steelers may bring back Peterson … odds are probably high since Gilmore signed with the Vikes….

Agree to most, but I am very doubtful we are looking for veteran back up DL. We got plenty of those already in Adams, Lowry, Leal, Loudermilk... there isn't anyone better that those guys that is getting cut.

Backup OLB makes a lot of sense and so does slot CB. There might be someone worth scooping up there.

We already have 5 rotational WR's making the roster already. We don't have a #2. I think if we make a WR move it is a trade and not picking someone up that is redundant to the WR2-6 that we already have.

What is funny about this is I only put WR on my list so people wouldn't take issue that I didn't have WR on it. I think we only bring in a WR if he can also be our gunner on ST.

Yeah. I feel good about paying him $28 million per year it's not my money . Also, I'm not worried about giving up draft picks if you can get a proven player.

I'm surprised Khan hasn't done any player contract extensions yet, Najee, Cam, and Muth are all in the last year of their contracts.

All 3 of them are questionable… Najee quietly throws teammates under bus, Muth questionable with lack of blocking skills and injuries and last but certainly not least, Cam close to retiring?!
Also, concerning Najee, I dont think he is very content in Pittsburgh.

What makes you so sure he is proven? We touched on this before, all the offensive weapons 49ers have, will he be as productive without all them on another team? What’s this, his 3 yr or 4th yr in NFL?

Of course Khan and Weidl will scan the turk dumps.

As long as I don't see Patrick Peterson in Black & Gold again. He is cooked.

A slot corner, receiver, maybe a back up center. In a pinch James Daniels can slide over and McCormick can take his spot. McCormick also took center snaps in the Lions game. But I would throw caution to the wind in this case using him there.

I read that the Eagles have some good CB trash that we might be able to pick up

You mean the guy who led the 49ers in receiving yardage last season isn't proven . The Steelers have some weapons too Pickens, Muth, Warren, and Najee.
