Since they only carry 3 OLB's I would believe that Adeniyi will be active due to Chick being niked up. Hunter can go, really has done nothing. Washington needs to get more reps. As far a Rogers he did contribute. So adding him means another release. Can you imagine them releasing Burns? Not that they would but it wouldn't surprise me. He is just horrible and his attitude is just as bad. Like Steel City and other said, on of the Allens will be released.

 

Start Adeniyi vs Broncos. Who knows? Maybe he is the next Von Miller. Watt and Adeniyi would wreak havoc.

 

Ola Adenyi having even some garbage time snaps would be a welcome sight to get him some live regular season reps.


Other than that, I would not start him barring extreme circumstances. T.J. Watt, if he is not already, needs to be in the discussion for NFL DPOY. Bud is having one of his best seasons in years.



Assuming Bud acquires eight sacks or more, I would extend him. He might not be the double digit sack master T.J. is but eight sacks, at a minimum, is no small feat in itself.

 

ola will be brought up & Ridley cut. Eli is on IR as Insurance. Switzerland is safe. Hunter is safe. So is Washington.

All This talk about Eli is a joke! Hasn’t played in how long? And the fools that are saying cut Hunter and replace him with Eli? You have no clue what you are talking about! Eli will never be a deep threat, period! We have Switzer who is holding down the position and doing what they ask of him. You’re an idiot if you think he comes back and they cut Hunter for him to take over Hunters spot? Two totally different positions! SMDH!!

Washington isn’t productive because he rarely sees a pass his direction unless it’s one of Bens **** balls that isn’t catchable! Maybe they aren’t on the same page, but that will come!

Eli is NOT going to change anything with our offense! Ben has his guys and has been doing pretty well! Whoever is calling for Eli over Switzer have no clue about chemistry and the game! Ben loves the little guy and he comes through when called upon! You don’t make a significant change this late in the year with a guy who hasn’t played all season, especially on offense! Only so many balls to go around!

With that being said, it has to be Ola! Unleash the beast! We need pressure and havoc on opposing QBs this time of year. Not bringing back a guy who is unknown in his abilities after injury just because People like him, hence Eli. WTH is wrong with some fans???

Ben has plenty of weapons! We need D to get it done! And we need GOOD BEN every game! We aren’t lacking on offense at all! Only time we lack on offense is when Ben decides he wants to suck for half the game! BOOM!!

'Ridley and Samuels are on the active roster... that's 3 RBs.....and until I see your "pay stub from the club" you are just another fan with an opinion....Jarvion Franklin is on the PS.

 

A weakness for several seasons has been depth at RB come time for playoffs. Perhaps there is someone out there better than Ridley.

Well, I was responding to the proposal that Ridley is cut due to Eli being put on 53 roster. Should they do that, they wouldn’t have depth. Ridley would be a Patriot again, at least for next 3 weeks.

Rogers had pretty good production his first year. 2nd year was buried on the depth chart. now's he older and coming off an acl. dunno about him
