Ratledge is among the many players that would have been available if we would have had a second round pick. Some draft sites have him rated as a 3rd round pick, so it is possible that he would be there at #83.

i've seen him at 70. throw out the positions we are not picking in the first and he moves up quite a bit. where most sites have players slated overall means nothing if it's a bunch of edge rushers and WR's,TE's, ILB's which i doubt we draft first this year. he is the #2 rated guard. if that's the spot you need and want to draft, he could be your first rounder. i can count about 20 position players at least we probably won't draft before him at least. that moves him to inside the top 30 easily. ya never know.

This is why the Steelers have to attempt, getting some sort
Of pick 2 or 3rd round back. As everyone says there
are IDL / wr/ rbs players out there that can improve our team.

I’m not sure how you pick up a 2nd or 3rd short of trading Pickens for one. I don’t want to give up Pickens. Let him walk next year and get a comp pick in the third next year for him. I would love to see him and DK together. They are both freaks and together I think they would compliment each other very well. You can’t double cover both of them. They would really open up the intermediate and underneath routes for Austin, Frieermuth and Wilson. IN addition they would really benefit the run game because teams would not be able to stack the box against us.

Ok so you want to live with tantrums, poor team work, not giving 100 percent on every play. Ok I understand.

You’ve described probably 9 out of 10 star WRs when they’re not getting the ball. Sign of the times.

I would like Kenneth Grant and I am warming up too Malaki Starks (reminds me of Branch in Detroit) we can play him in the slot. If we went with Grant then get JJ Pegeus from Ole Miss as your run stuffer in round 3 or 4. Would love Cam Skateboo but he doesn’t really fit outside zone but love his contact balance. Wouldn’t mind a late round flyer on Hollis the big OT. They really do need to draft another OT and OG this draft as the book is still out on Jones and we have no depth at OG.

Something tells me though we are going to reach for a QB in round 1 and trade Pickens for a round 3 pick and then get some middling wr in round 3 and a clone at rb of what we already have in our other round 3 pick. Then we will get some smallish DT who won’t really fit the traditional 3-4 and everyone will wonder why we can’t stop the run. Then we will grab a slow safety just because and probably add an edge when we are already stocked up there all the while ignoring the offensive line as if it is already set.

No I want to live with perplexed opposing defenses no longer stacking the box to stop our run game and requiring two deep safeties and trying to figure out who to double cover - Pickens or Metcalf. All the while Rodgers dropping go routes right and left to the single covered deep receiver and throwing to wide open underneath and middle of the field receivers like Friermuth, Austin and Wilson. Pickens would be in a contract year. Something tells me he would be on his best behavior with that incentive plus having Metcalf and Rodgers there to keep him on the straight and narrow.

You don't have to trade Pickens, remember you need more than 1 WR. You can trade down and get an extra second.

My top realistic options are probably Treyveon Henderson, Kenneth Grant, Derrick Harmon, Shedeur Sanders, Will Howard, Jahdae Barron and Will Johnson

I'd really like to see us stay away from Nick Emmanwori and Shemar Stewart.

i'd still like to see mukuba brought in as a DB. could play that FS spot down the line. he could play anywhere back there as well. now if they can move back up into round 3 instead of moving into 2. we probably could pull that off easier. still a lot to choose from there.

Colbert is gone. Khan will draft guys who get injured and then written off by the fans after their rookie seasons.

Your not going to trade down and stay in the first round and get an extra second. A third in the back end of the third round maybe.

I find it funny how quick people lose their memory
Of instances regarding George Pickens. I believe people
really need to go back and research these instances. over his
career with the Steelers. He does not warrant an extension with the Steelers,
Get what you can now for him and lets somebody else baby sit him.
With a young QB on the horizon next year, That new QB will need all hands on deck.
Like MT says we don't want prisoners here. Lol. Get back draft capital.

    What a bum
    A panic pick
He would have been there in the 3rd
    Kahn needs to resign immediately
Tomlin should have to flee for his life
Is this close to what we'll hear in 14 days?
