The Detroit Lions are +2,000 to win the superbowl. What does that mean to money bet?

The stuff I see the younger guys do confuses the hell out of me. They bet during the games on such stupid crap. Casino's betting can be simple. Bet 100 on the Pirates to suck, win 90.

Way I see it bet 100 dollars on the Lions to win SB (or just send to me cause they ain't winning) and you are getting around 20 grand if they win it.

Rollers, I went up to the Casino's to bet on the Steelers making Playoffs but odds were terrible. I had to bet 240.00 to win 100.00 and Ahole Casino keeps 20% of your bet. It was to early to bet the Pirates over/under but guy told me with a smirk on his face I could get great odds right now betting them to win the WS. Ended up putting a decent sum on our boys this Sunday to beat the Cardinals by more then 5.5 points. Should I win I won't go up to collect until the over/under comes out on Pirates and I'll bet all my winnings on the over if reasonable cause I think my boys win total will be in the upper 70's in 2024.

At the Hard Rock in AC the Lions odds change a bit although still a long shot to win it all. I always say if the Lions reach the SB the entire country will be pulling for them except the fans of team they are playing.

In theory, four teams that haven't been to a Super Bowl could achieve that goal this year, Jacksonville, Houston, Cleveland and Detroit. In reality, Detroit is nowhere near Philly or SF, and Cleveland's QB issues will keep them from going. Jacksonville has a shot and Houston is probably a couple of years away.

I see they are now listed at +1300 now (7% chance). Steelers are at +6500 (1.5%), but -235 to make playoffs (70%)
