i really would like to why so many of u steeler fans are using the word hate so much in reference to coach tomlin. i feel that most of the lame stuff that is said to be the reasons are garbage especially when its so obvious that we lack talent because of a inept front office we could have easily tanked the season. that has not happened and i for one believe that it takes a good if not great coach to keep a group of over hill vets and a slew of young no names competitive just take a look at all the losing teams that have givin up. we dont have the talent flat out and to have won 5 is amazing to me with this cast.face it we are rebuilding and with our current cap situation it might not get any better no matter who the coach or coaches are this team is like sour grapes but with time they will become the finest of wine but us fans are gonna have to take it on the chin until then.

everyone loved him after we won a few games
So dont worry i would guess there only a few that truly hate him

i'm one of the biggest anti tomlin , but when i use the word hate is not because i would like to kill him or i want bad things happen to the man , i don't like 80 % of the things i see he does for this team and i believe is a fraud inherit . i can be wrong and i would like to be wrong .. hate for me means a strong dislike

is not only win or losing ,i feel like his kidding everybody

I don't think I have ever used the word hate against Tomlin. I just don't think he's a very good coach. I've never seen such uninspired football from the Steelers as I have this season and it even goes back further than that. His teams just come out flat and usually with the same game plan against nearly every team.
Honestly, I believe the Steelers could do much better with a more inspirational coach. JMHO.

well for me on everything on this tomlin has no merit , he just came in and let the team carried by the veterans lebeau and ben/arians . that's was smart because he was too young to put his input on it , then he felt one of the best coach in the word and start to be arrogant and came out all of his limits , when he started to make decisions started the nightmare

anyway time will tell ,this is only my opinion

do you rember what harrison sayd on interwiew before the cincy game ? tomlin ?he was only one of us ..

You don't have to hate someone to be highly critical of their performance. Sure there are a few out there but haters gonna hate.

Tomlin's legacy will be written in the next two or three years. Can he rebuild this team? Can he develop the talent he's given via the draft or free agency? Can he get his team ready to play week in and week out without all of the maddening displays of ineptitude and consistently playing down to (seemingly) lesser opponents?

I do disagree that we don't have the talent to win. Tomlin has one of the top quarterbacks in the league playing for him. He's got talented players on both sides of the ball; Brown, Bell, Miller, Cotchery, Sanders, DeCastro, Heyward, Timmons, Worilds, Woodley, Polamalu, Taylor. I don't care what anybody says, THAT is enough talent to win more consistently than they are winning. What would Belichick or Sean Payton or Jim Harbaugh or Mike McCarthy do with that talent.

I think Tomlin's coaching repertoire is seriously deficient, but I'm willing to see if he can turn it around and will even give him props if he does. But I have serious reservations about him being able to do so.

The Steelers bring me joy, it is great to root for a franchise with the success they have had the last 20 years (second only to NE). I would not use the word hate with anyone associated with the organization. I didn't hate Wallace when he was here, I cheered for him to have success. The same the BA and now TH. Doesn't mean I'm not frustrated at times. But my hate is completely reserved for the Ravens.

As Clubber Lang once said, "I don't hate the man, but I pity the fool!"
