yes, we need a nt..... McClendon is serviceable, and the jury is still out on McCullers (although, I still believe in him)...
at the same time, we have ignored and totally neglected the cb position for far too long, and it's biting us in the ass now.... coverage sacks are just as important as pressure int's....
we at least have someone waiting in the wings at the nt spot, and can take some time evaluating the position before going back to the draft, while we have a bunch of nickle and dime backs starting for us in the secondary

 

Has he cleaned his act up? He was suspended twice by ECU...

I DO like the height, definitely needs to cut 25-30lbs though. Probably will just end up as a backup though...we need a franchise player at NT

Yeah right, Suh is looking for big time money the Steelers have no shot. Most of their money will go towards re-signing Ben. They need to find a stud in the draft it doesn't have to be in the first round either.

 

The biggest reason for the decline of the Steelers defense over the last few years is that after enjoying a hall of fame level DL during the 00s, they tried, when the time came, and ultimately failed to, no just replac those great players, but to draft even a SINGLE at least pro-ball caliber lineman. It's that simple.

Live by the draft, die by the draft.

Aaron Smith. One of, if not the best, 3-4 DE ever. Not saying he will actually get in of course seeing how everyone on a 3-4 DL gets underrated.

There haven't been many NTs like Casey Hampton either. Overall that group was an amazing 3-4 DL. Keisel, who is now considered a bit of a Steelers legend, wasn't even a starter.

 

I saw one mock draft with us taking Danny Shelton...I would be quite happy with that!
