6:45 tonight I walked into the kitchen and clapped my hands twice said to my wife, maybe this chit is on a clapper. Turned around to tell her it didn't work and the lights came on. Dang this AC feels good

Welcome back Coastal hope all is good , my son lives in Wilmington and left last Wednesday to come here in NY. He left today to go back but not Wilmington he is going to Burlington.

 

They’re asking Wilmington residents to not return for a couple more days. Delayed flooding from inland rainfall.

 

Yes that is why he went to burlington, his company has work there and are putting him up in a hotel. He went down 81 and said it wasn't too bad, wishing everyone there the best!

Welcome back Coastal! Hoping one of my favorite vacation spots Top Sail, NC wasn't hammered too bad. That was one big Hurricane! Glad you guys stayed safe.

 

Doing pretty good now Mac. B4 we got power back last night Kittie had me put a roast on the charcoal grill. Dang it was good.. We have half of it left. It will be 1 or 2 more b4 stores start getting regular deliveries. We will not be hungry though. I have four MRE's in the garage if things ain't good soon LOL

We got it worse that Topsail but think they had more serge than we did. Actually 2 or 300 yards from my house I met Cajun Yankee on his job one day. The store where we met, was under water 3 days ago. Water is down now but store is still wet. My property has never flodded. Hope it stays that way too
