We normally do well with the first two picks...but then go way left field after that. Year in and year out...we leave good talent on the board in the later rounds. So, being that we are one of the few teams that build through the draft...shouldn't we do a better job or do more homework for the layer rounds?

I think our track record in the mid and late rounds is just as good if not better than any other team in the league.

Most mid to late rounders dont work out. Same for every team. Steelers are not an outlier.

Anything after the third round is a crap shoot. Some pan out while others don't. The Steelers have nabbed some decent players and a great player in the later rounds. As long as they don't miss in the first 2 I don't really care about the rest.

mid to late rounds is where teams like the Pats, Cards, and Steelers make the most of it. Early rounds for them usually are icing on the cake.

We have to do damage in the mid to late rounds...and we will. We'll make our mark with a nice safety and OLB. Feeling really confident about what we'll accomplish in the next 3 days.

McCullers doesn't deserve to be on that list, he hasn't done anything in his career.
