That is not what I witnessed. First thing off the bat was an 80 kick return in our face and they had 3 pts before a minute and a half was ticked off the clock. The offense looked terrible in the 1st half and couldn't do anything. Defense did well to keep us in the game and so did the refs. We didn't look like we were well prepared in my opinion as that is how I see being down 10-0 in the 1st half. Plus, this emphasis on the run along with our #1 draft pick was not what I was hoping for. We got the win but there is a lot of work to do, including Ben's accuracy.

Agreed, but we were lucky to get the sack fumble back and run blocking was iffy at best. Overall the line did better than I expected. These guys may end up doing good things this year if we can keep them together and healthy.

Your kidding correct. We couldn't move the ball till they basically let Ben do His thing.
I also noticed nobody is say how in accurate J. Allen is with the deep ball. If Ben threw some of the passes Allen did. ....people would be like ...see told you he can't throw deep.

Twice Ben had Harris open for potential long gains and couldn't get him the ball close enough for him to catch it in open space. No, not kidding. Just because the opposing QB sucked on some plays doesn't make inaccurate throws by Ben more accurate. "Ben doing his thing"? I'm reading on posts how Canada play calling is much better than what we had last year. I'm confused. I don't know who is calling the plays or who should be taking the bows for anything. All I know is we won, they lost, and we still have work to do. JMO>

We ran almost all Canada's plays the 1st half, but I guarantee in the 2nd half 70% of those plays were Bens stuff that He always goes 2 when We are struggling 2 move the Ball, and If not they sure looked like a lot of what He's always gone 2. Spreading the field , and reading.

We outscored the Bills 23-6 in the second half. Is it possible that Tomlin made the necessary adjustments after halftime?

They made some adjustments at halftime, the Bills are a good defense, most people expected the Steelers to struggle on offense.

I'll take this effort from Ben. Yeah, he missed two passes to Harris. But you know that reminded me that #12 could make all of the throws except a screen pass. He could never get that and it used to drive me crazy. I'm thrilled with the Stillers this year. Win or lose, they are my team and I believe they will win more often than will lose. One last note from me: The defensive backs impressed me and I did have little faith that would happen.

Some people have given Norwood kudos for this game. He missed the tackle on this. He also missed another that went for a long gain. He did not play well.

That’s funny because when they lose you don’t want to blame Tomlin all you type is “Tomlin didn’t throw any interceptions”. It was a good team win. However Tomlin does not get the most wins out of his teams. Najee Harris will not make it 17 games. Tomlin will ensure he is hurt. If Harris is really durable it will take Tomlin 13 games to hurt him. Mark my words he will be hurt getting 100% of all rushes it will be TOMLIN’s fault.

I know people disagree, but I still think J. Allen is not all that. I know He had a good Year last year, but I don't think once You take away the running ..
I think he's been targeted 12 times tonight for 2 catches

You’re saying a starting NFL running back, playing behind a dodgy offensive line on a team recommitted to the run game and in the NFL’s most physical division, will get injured?!

Way to go out on a limb, my man. ;)

Nick Chubb will stay healthier and so will joe mixon because their coach will not run the in the ground as much as Tomlin. Tomlin in the past gave bell the ball 10 times on one drive in a playoff game bell ended up injured prior to the Steelers getting to the AFC championship game.

Tomlin also does not keep the backup running back up to speed by giving him a couple of touches per game. Instead we are shocked when our RB doesn’t last and disappointed the “injury bug” got us. Sometimes you are asking for it. Kind of like a Running QB that refuses to slide
