Not this coach Bobby!!!!!!!!! This guy did it right!!!!!!!!! Coach Belisle was the manager of the LL team that lost to the team from the Chicago area that cheated.This guy did EVERYTHING right!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read your own article....And yes the inordinate amount of exclamation points is warranted in this case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Belisle is a great coach by all accounts. As my son was a 12 YO All-Star this year and I coached, we watched almost every inning and pulled strongly for the RI team (even though they beat Fairfield to advance). Don't care if he's a NE fan, those kids will admire him for their entire lives.

Allow me to spell this out for you: The OP presumed he was, which is why the word "irony" was used in the title. I didn't say he was, but followed the lead and said "if" he was, I didn't care.

Wow, this thread had no chance considering the OP completely misinterpreted what he read and used the word irony to describe something that isn't ironic whatsoever, and now, people are fighting over another misinterpretation lol

It means "original post" I think. As in the first one of the thread. In video games it means "overpowered" but I don't think that's what they were talking about here. LOL.

Im sure he's a fine coach. And a great guy. And he's right. I find it ironic that (big assumption here...he's a Pats fan because they're from New England) that a Pats fan is railing against (rightfully so) cheating and talking about how it undermined the integrity of the game.
