Oh Is that how you play defense?

It only took 5 minutes for one of the worst defenses in the league to get a sack and fumble on Tebow. How long did it take the #1 defense to do that? Oh and they should get tape of the San Fran game because that is how you RUSH a Passer.

Yep. When a D is having a good day and are relatively healthy and playing at home with two weeks rest that happens. The Steelers were banged up and had Hampton and the Beard go out early with no Ryan Clark or A. Smith and had a bad day to boot.

 

I guess regular stats don't mattter, they don't. It's how you're playing in the Playoffs.

 

I know, your right. How different would it have been if the we beat the Ratbirds the second time and got the #2 seed...we'd be playing at home tomorrow against the Texans with some needed rest. I think I might go crazy if I keep going through the whatifs in my head!

I saw my first Steelers game in 1975 so I've had my 'what if' times more than I care to remember.

 

And when we were playing lights out and winning Super Bowls what did those teams and there fans say about us?

 

If the Steelers would have beaten the Ravens, in their 2nd game, and finished at 13-3, the Steelers would've been the #1 seed

 

And if we were a #1 playing at home against Denver , we would win even with the injuries....

 

If the Steelers where the #1 seed, I doubt they would be playing the Broncos in the Divisional round. For that to happen, the Broncos would have to have beaten the Ravens in the wildcard week. Most likely game would have been Ravens@ Steelers

I didn't think he had possession

 

Patriots not fooled by Option, so far.

 

I thought he did as per the new rules. Before, if the ball hit the ground or if it moved, it was incomplete. Now, you only need to maintain possession, which he did. Yes, the ball hit the ground and it moved, but how can it now move when you're slamming into the ground that hard. He had his hands wrapped around the ball at all times and although it moved, it didn't move from out of his grip.

 

Im disappointed how the Pats are shutting down tebow and we couldnt.

Wow... man we went without a SB for over 25 years. Seriously solid defenses in that time (SB XXX ring a bell), a guy that can play QB shows up and suddenly we're in 3 SB's in 5 years...

Yeah you're right, game over if we play Ben, he sucks, what were the Steelers thinking drafting him in the first place
