He has some really decent numbers, but in 13 years he has 5 play off appearances and his teams are 1-4. Career earnings around the 200 million mark, and possible 100 million plus more for a guy coming off a major injury. Free market is wonderful when you know owners are stupid and desperate enough to jingle their pocket millions for this.

I think he was the 15th pick the year he was drafted, add him to the draft picks they gave up for Wilson, and now the extreme cap hit they are taking, that perhaps is the worst decision a team has ever made in the CAP era.

See the dumb ones do it for Qbs that never did anything for them yet. People complain about Ben taking up that money, but at least He had done something...like 3 SBs. Some of these Qb are taking the same amount of cap space, and have barely even won a playoff game, or two.....some haven't even done that.
