I thought they would keep 4. But Washington is a beast who will serve up pancakes and had some nice catches as well. Also Heyward is a playmaker.

Presumed he would be cut. Great job by front office and best of luck to KG in Heuston, hopefully he can salvage his career there

I guess maybe they like Rodney Williams and are thinking that they’ll be able to sign him to the practice squad.

I guess they feel like Washington is ready to play quite a bit. It probably means Olszewski is staying, too.

We actually got our sixth rounder back in 2025. Khan is a wizard.

Yeah, Olszewski probably makes the team now. With Green and Dotson gone its probably a pretty good bet that Anderson and Cook make the initial 53 (outside C help could send one to the PS). Still a few more difficult decisions to be made.

Picks wise, we've picked up a 4th and 6th in 2024 and a 5th in 2025. Traded away a 5th in 2024 and a 6th in 2025. Maybe we can swing another trade or two with Mann or the loser of the last DL spot?

My final thoughts on the Kendrick Green situation...

    Arguably Colberts greatest draft whiff.

We received a 4th for our fifth in 2024 from the Rams. We received a 5th for our 6th in 2025 from the Rams. Now we have a 6th from the Texans to replace it. If we can somehow swing a trade for a 5th in 2024, we're all set.

Hard to say that a 3rd rounder was Colbert's greatest draft whiff when dudes like Jarvis Jones and Artie Burns exist. He's not even the worst 3rd round pick for as bad as he was. Dri Archer, Bruce Davis, and Willie Reid didn't last as long as Green. Golson was due to injury, but he never played a meaningful down for us and was taken in the second round. Alonzo Jackson was another guy in the second round that had a quick exit from the league. Ricardo Colclough was another second round horrific miss.

Not that I am defending Green. He was really bad. But he isn't the absolute WORST pick of Colbert's career...

The way the Rams are looking, that 4th could be the first day 3 pick next year.

True. Archer was arguably the worst. It was almost immediately clear that he was worthless.

I agree, can Moore play the R side? I don't know, just asking. Omar has stated he is here to win SB's, he has made moves to correct obvious HUGE defects, given us depth in various positions, but I don't think you do THAT move at the start of the season with a rookie (who very well will start sometime this season, and another R as back up coming from Montana (not the best competition). If he is on the roster they must feel he has promise and can fill in if needed, but you don't throw away Chucs at this point in time.

Moore has been practicing some at right tackle and he played there in at least the last two preseason games. I am certain the plan is to move him to the right side when Jones take over at left tackle.

It would not surprise me, I think they like him and can sign him to an extension next year, and if they got an offer for Chuks that was to good to pass up, certainly worth consideration. I don't think any of us saw the Claypool trade, at least not a 2nd, Omar is not afraid to deal, lol.

Saw something this morning, too early and I forget where lol, but it listed former steelers who were cut..or may be cut. Some not surprising or note worthy, James Washington was one, but the poster said Artie Burns and Bush were in danger of being cut. Every team whiffs on firsts at times, but that is a lot of whiffs. lol

Worst pick in the Colbert era was Jarvis Jones by a mile. Artie Burns was second.
