Official Steelers vs Ravens Gameday Thread

Making this one early. Worried but not worried lol. We win awesome but if we lose the season won’t be over.

Given the future possibilities of bad losses I prefer we win.

They have a banged up O line so there’s no excuse not to beat up on joe. Can’t give up on the running game either because they will focus on Conner.

Gonna be optimistic and say we win.

This is a big one.

 

I would like to start the game off with a fake hand-off to Conners, tight end screen pass to Vance McDonald, with the o-line leading the way against some cornerbacks.

 

I think we are in for a classic Steelers vs Ravens match-up today. Steelers are a better team all around than they were the first time around. My prediction??? Close game the whole way through. Steelers lead by 4 with 1:31 on the clock. Flacco gets the ball at the Ravens 31 yard line. STEELERS D STEPS UP AND CLOSES THE GAME! Steelers win 24 to 20!

 

I do not want the D on the field at the end of the game. Would you rather be up 4 with the defense on the field, or down 4 with Roethlisberger on the field? If I had to choose, I am going Big Ben.

 

I agree. But if we are going anywhere, this defense is going to have to step up and get a stop when it matters. Maybe today's the day.

 

why not be up 20 with the offense on the field? lol

 

The defense is playing better to the point where the games may not come down to the last possession. We will see if they can get off the field on 3rd down today, something they could not do the last game against Baltimore.

 

I agree let's not have 3 and outs on our first two possessions.

 

My prediction is James Washingtons best day as a pro...

 

We win today, I think we win the division. There, I said it.

 

Ahhhh another Sunday of sweating balls for 3+ hours. Some good games after ours but won't be much fun to watch if we lose.

Ravens have #1 overall defense and are in purple land. Will be a huge test for O-line and Connors.

Could be a rough 5 days for us boys and girls. Wonder if there is any female member on this board??

 

With the injuries to their OL there is no excuse for our D although we've heard this story before. Tuitt and Dupree going up against a back up with one of them starting his first NFL game. Those boys better eat....

 

Those number one defense stats are miss leading, they built those stats against the likes of buffalo, titans where they got 11 sacks against a non existant oline, the broncos who couldnt score enough to win early on, and the browns who couldnt score more than 9 points but won in overtime, their D stats dont look so impressive against the 4 teams they lost to.....

 

I was going to post earlier, I think AB84 goes off today, but I will gladly take a big day from either of them. I hope Washington gets some opportunities today and takes advantage of them.

 

I do think today’s key is Ben. He HAS to play well for us to win. He’s typically woeful in Baltimore.

 

Prediction... Well see Suggs ugly Mug on the field as usual!!! Oh and he got that Grill fixed!!! Got some new "teefiss"
