I did but at least I feel like the arrow is pointing up with him back there. Switz is suppose to be a veteran and that play where he ran backwards setting up the safety is what you are not suppose to do. Switz has shown nothing time to give DJ a shot. Jmo

 

I don't trust Johnson, he's too careless with the ball sometimes, on that PR he fumbled he tried to do too much just get down in that situation.

 

Minkah's clutchness is spreading to other Steel Curtainers.

Another thing that bothers me about Johnson, he seems to get alligator arms sometimes going across the middle.

Like someone else said if Ben doesn’t get hurt we probably don’t either. We probably think Ben would make up for the loss on D and we use a stopgap at FS. Been saying for years how bad we need a ball hawk FS it’s no accident Minkah is always around the ball. It’s instincts you can’t teach.

 

Man, let’s keep this momentum going and grab the dub on Thursday. 5-4 is nice... but 6-4 after our start would be something else.

Too bad he can’t teach them to Edmunds. His ball skills are really weak. The interference penalty he committed, he was in great position, but ran into the receiver rather than play the ball. He was also lucky to avoid another interference penalty on that ball Goff threw to the end zone late.

 

Can’t disagree. A lot of thinking going on there still. I do see subtle improvement though. If we can ever get his athleticism to translate on the field, this D would be terrifying. He should be the guy that helps to eliminate the problems in the middle of the field. That’s really our only weakness right now. I still have some hope for Edmunds. Maybe his brother can teach him a thing or two...lol

 

We have weak links but they can be masked with other players. Mink basically helps out edmunds and whatever corner is struggling. The emergence of bud also transitioned this defense

 

Agreed. The sad part of all this is they are likely to lose two of the key components of this defense to free agency. Maybe they manage to keep Dupree or Hargrave, but I can't see them keeping both and they don't have a ready replacement for either guy.
