Official Steelers vs Pats Gameday Thread

Overall, I'm pleased with our 1st half. I never thought the score would be this close. We left some points out there, but I think we can win this thing..

 

The main thing I've taken from the first half is: if we have a healthy team, we would totally kick the ass of this Patriots team.

Other observations which I'm sure others have made:

- Steelers playing a very sensible offensive game

- Defense making plays as well.

- Landry doing ok. Accuracy is alright, just taking a few risks he doesn't need to.

- I fear the Pats may adjust at half-time, but the Steelers seem to have been mixing it up well, so difficult to see what they would adjust. They need to get their TEs more into the game, so perhaps they work on that.

 

Just wondering, is Jim Nance the worst football announcer ever?

He's looked a little unsettled so far. I think we've set the tone well on defense so far.

I like the physical play so far...We aint scared of no stinking Cheaters!!!

 

A few mistakes but at crucial points and times. Points being takened off the board and opportunities being missed.om
On the upside...we're still in it and neither Bell or Brown has scored yet

 

Halftime adjustments: Need to get someone on Eldelman. The middle of the field is wide open. We are lucky they did not excuse those last two third downs. two drops by them. But one would of been called back because of the hold.

 

We better keep our heads on a swivel!!! Because the cheatriots tend to play dirty when their getting bet ala Edelman takes cheap shots after the whistle.

 

Winnable game.

Our D needs to continue stopping and create one turnover at least.
Our O, take care and keep moving the football.

A special teams play can put us in very favorable position to win.
