Mitch sucks, and he's overpaid for what he provides.

Throwing to Allen Robinson in triple coverage?.. the other int?.. Mason could do that for a less money.

Officiating this year is awful. I generally don't rag on the refs. Sometimes it bothers me, and I do. And yes this version of the Steelers is disappointing to say the least. HOWEVER, that hit that took Picket out was intentional. It was Burfect level of criminal and if that player isn't fined and or suspended, then I don't EVER want to hear NFL concerns regarding player safety.

In 2021,Ben was not mediocre in the fourth quarter when he had more power for the playcalling....They had almost half of their points in the fourth quarter that year!

Canada handcuffed a HOF QB... didn't let him throw to the middle of the field. Charlie Batch on the radio was saying all that season that it "looked like" Ben wan't allowed to audible anymore.

You know Charlie was being nice, I'm sure him and Ben talk all the time.

Yeah. Let's look at what He did on a different team besides the Steelers. That really helps us here. You know that type of thinking is Why He was brought in, and why a Guy who has more losses than wins, and more turnovers than tds is still our backup. Freaking great idea. LoL. Boy what he did in Chicago 7 years ago is really helping us now. LoL. How many multiple ints do You have to see????? 5 more , 6 more?? Hell the man should have thrown 4 yesterday, and threw 2 anyway....but You go on and hold to what He did 6 years ago....2 teams ago. Because that is helping us big time.

You wrote all that, but didn't tell me what I wrote that wasn't true.
You can't quote someone, and say it isn't true, and then not explain what isn't true, and why it's not. I read what You said, but nothing pertained what wasn't true:shrug:. So I don't get it.

It was a joke about when you said it was always the quarterback being old, a young quarterback, or a ****ty quarterback. Canada proved that wrong.

Yeah that a dumb comparison. So I guess J. Harrison never was good. I mean nobody wanted him for many years. I guess I had hallucinations of K. Warner being good....I believe nobody wanted Him either so bad He was out of the NFL......There are many many other examples of this. The way You are Saying it ....it's like teams don't make mistakes.......so every 1st round pick should be a hit, and no team should make any mistakes. LoL.

"Throw a pick along with Mitch" was mediocre in Chicago but he has been terrible in his time here in Pittsburgh. He came into a game last year and threw 3 picks against the Ravens and yesterday threw 2 more and a couple of more were dropped. If Kenny can't go on Thursday and Mitch is terrible again then the Steelers have to make the switch to Rudolph at halftime.

Actually, it does help. If a player has a set of skills, those skills can be applied in a new situation.

The things Rudolph did four years ago don't help the Steelers now, but you keep bringing them up. By the way, seven years ago, Trubisky was still playing college ball for North Carolina. Six years ago, he was a struggling rookie with the Bears. His Pro Bowl season was not six or seven years ago, it was five. I'd take the guy he was in 2019 or 2020 with the Bears as a backup. That version of him was still better than Rudolph.

Funny how people only bring up the interceptions against the Ravens and they ignore Trubisky bringing the team back to beat Tampa Bay and playing well in a start against Carolina last season. He did those things after being demoted to No. 2, too.

He's not good. He is a backup for a reason. Plug a guy like him into a terrible offense and some bad things are going to happen. Sure, taking a shot on Rudolph couldn't hurt, but the evidence doesn't support putting any faith in him, either.

Maybe sometimes. But when everything is bad around a quarterback, things generally look like they did for Mahomes yesterday, no matter how good he is.

I'm just messing with you on the years thing because you were implying that his best NFL performances were six or seven years ago. They weren't. His Pro Bowl season was 2018. Even the 2019 or 2020 versions of him would be fine as a backup.

The entire league passed on making Rudolph their No. 2 quarterback and you still thought he could be good, yet you think I'm the stubborn one? (Okay, I am, but look in the mirror!)

I certainly don't have any faith in Rudolph especially after he hasn't played a down in years but Trubisky looks like he has taken a step backwards from last year.

The Bills aren't a lock, they're very inconsistent and has too many injuries on defense.
