Then you're not paying attention. I've absolutely pointed out good throws when they happen. They're just rare. I also give credit to Canada for good play calling, when it happens. Which feels even more rare than good Pickett throws. We've watched Pickett play in about 19 games. Of those 19 games he's never had an outstanding game. He's made a few plays here and there, had a few good drives. Last week he played a great 2nd half of football and earned the win for the Steelers. That doesn't change the fact that he's been trash the rest of the time. He's thrown for 2 TDs in a game once his whole career. He's had more multi INT games than TD games in his career

Anyone paying attention knows how bad this team really is. Granted when you lose your QB mid game it’s tough to comeback.

 

Steelers should have waited a year to draft their next QB rather than reach for Pickett in 2022. Could have had Will Levis (he went 33rd overall in the second round). He has an absolute cannon for an arm and threw 4TDs. Levis likely will be the Titans QB facing the Steelers Thursday.

 

You're 100% correct here. Pickett, Trubs, Rudolph aren't starters on any team in the league and probably aren't #2 on most teams.

It's been several years since we had a QB that could stretch the field like Levis did today. Ben's arm at the end of his career after injury couldn't do it and Pickett can't do it. If we had a QB with an arm like Levis along with the WRs we have, it could be similar to what we're seeing in Miami.

 

Yes the front office is horrible , this is the nfl , it’s clear as day light what the problem is and it’s Canada and this coaching staff inability to make theses QB’s even average
