I really thought we’d see something better in the second half. I’m so disappointed that Ben did this. It’s one of the absolute worst second-half performances of his career, and again our most hated rivals. He really did have guys open all over the place. I’ll be really interested to hear his post-game presser.

 

Maybe I don’t understand sports.
But I saw nothing the Ravens did tonight impressive.

Any NFL team could have done that.

 

If he did, I can't remember it. It's like the entire game plan from the 2nd quarter was flushed at halftime and they decided to try something else.

 

I think they bumped his arm a couple of times.

 

Let those Baltimore baby's have their bottle. There fans been hurtin more than us.

On another note, BB wasnt his finest tonight but he loves playing but I assume he fed up with stuff going on.

 

We got to do better and it starts with me....

 

On the bright side, next year we won't have to stay up late to watch Steeler games

 

Nah. This is a good thing, a lucky thing. One way or the other, it's going to force change.

 

We'll be 1-4-1 at the bye. Very evident that it isn't our year. D is just a mess even with holding to fgs in the 2nd half. O is just too inconsistent to go on a streak.

They pretty much followed their typical game plan. Except for the Max Williams play.

 

They won a sb in 2012 compared to 2008 for us

 

This team is in dire need of a whole-sale house-cleaning. There is no point in waiting until after the season either. I want to wake up tomorrow to the news that the defensive coaching staff has been fired. Who cares if it is mid-season? They certainly can't play worse. Then start looking at the roster and seeing who needs to go. Outside of a couple younger players, I would put everyone else on the block and see about what can be done to change the culture for the rest of the season. If that means getting rid of guys like AB, then so be it. We've wasted him anyway.

Conner's clean block in the direction of the play? Oh that's a penalty

Ravens clearly have 12 men on the field when ball is snapped? No problem we'll just pick up that flag
Steelers 12 men on the field? Penalty for sure

Corrente is a crook and he doesn't even try to hide it.

 

Looks a lot like the Tampa 2nd half.

I was afraid we would come out flat the second half. And I was right

 

I don't even want to hear about the game plan. It was all execution. Roethlisberger did not execute worth a damn the entire second half.

The defense was bad, too. Don't let the relatively low point total fool you. The Ravens fumbled once at the one and missed on other opportunities in the first half. Then they dominated the time of possession in the second half. Sure, they got away with a penalty on the trick play to the tight end (the one that they had him lined up next to the center), but they still failed again.

 

The Steelers are supposed to be a top tier organization. If they want to be that they have to bring in top tier talent and coaching not just keep promoting from within.
