Exactly. He played awesome against the Steelers I thought. Well hopefully for your fantasy sake they will tender him before we start sometime within the next week or less. (I need to check some stuff and hopefully I'll have a firm start date in the next couple days).

The Panthers are testing the market on both star RB'S...Williams and Stewart are both available in reasonable deals...The Panthers would also consider moving out of our First round pick....

The Texans are facing cap issues and with the need to resign Mario Williams and Arian Foster they are looking to trade out of the first round. The Texans are also placing Cushing on the trade block as he doesn't fit into their long term goals looking for playmaker at the WR position or ILB.

Eagles are looking for a safety, linebackers, d-tackles, interior o-line. Have draft choices, cornerback (assante samuel) and a back-up qb (Lafka). Waiting on status of DeSean Jackson.

Ok then barring any unforeseen circumstances the first pick will be on the clock at Friday 5pm (EASTERN). ALL ROSTERS will be locked in the as of 12am Friday March 2nd. Also any and all trades can officially be announced as of 12am March 1st.

Also...all draft talk/etc will be conducted in the main/first thread I posted (reviewing selections/etc). All trade stuff will be here. And I will be making a thread JUST TO ANNOUNCE YOUR PICKS...NOTHING ELSE is to be posted there. After talking things over with some they agree and think it will make it easier to track the picks that way. So again ONLY your pick selections will be posted there...to discuss them/etc go to the main/first thread. Thanks!

LargeTreat you better get DeBartolo in gear (or whoever the Niners have now :-D ) and sign Grant to a contract so we can pull the trigger on that trade!

Hahaha....I was gonna lock them in as of that message or something...but I was like I'll give as long as I can and all...I didnt want it to go beyond that...so that the GMs can start preparing earlier in the day before the draft starts and all.

I don't know WHAT is taking them so long. But we are so confident in Grant, that we may opt to just keep him long-term and put Bowman on the block instead. However, as an established elite ILB, he will naturally cost a lot more...

OK, so in the other thread gpguy said that trades can be announced after 12AM on March 1st. So, here goes:

The Miami Dolphins have traded their 1st and 2nd round picks, Jared Odrick and Cameron Wake to the Colts for the 1st pick in the draft. The Dolphins will be on the clock when the draft officially opens at 5 PM tomorrow. Any guesses as to who the Dolphins will be Lucky enough to select?

The Colts GM has confirmed this to me a week or so ago when it was first worked out...he does still have to confirm it here in public...but I will go ahead and make the change to the draft order now.

The Eagles and Texans would like to announce a trade of linebackers and 3rd round picks. The The Eagles will trade Pick #77 and OLB Casey Matthews to the Texans in exchange for pick #89 and ILB Brian Cushing.
This will be official once Thorn058 confirms the trade.

I confirm this trade. The texans feel that Casey Matthews will fill the need of a LB/Safety and help to provide depth in nickel coverage situations.

NAVARRO BOWMAN and PATRICK WILLIS are on the trading block.

Only one of them will be traded. Since Larry Grant cannot be traded, the 49ers have elected to keep him and trade one of the players starting ahead of him.

Bowman is a complete stud who racked up 143 tackles last year. He excels in all areas of the game. He can play in a 3-4 or 4-3. He outplayed Patrick Willis last year.** This is commonly accepted among 49er fans. He will not come cheap.

Patrick Willis is still the best ILB/MLB in the game. He can play in a 3-4 or 4-3. He has been doing it longer than Bowman and more consistently. Barring a career-ending injury, will be a first ballot Hall of Famer with a good 8 years left. Just entering his prime. He will be even less cheap. But the 49ers are listening to offers.

Need to fix your defense's problems? PM me. We are open to draft picks, receivers, and possibly other positions too. CB, NT, OG.
