    Sorry, I'm going OL with Donald Stephenson, OT Oklahoma. I've got Stephenson as a 3rd round talent (above Andrew Datko). I can't see drafting Jean Baptiste with so many projecting him as a 7th or UDFA.

    I haven't "scouted" Jean Baptiste, but I'm not buying. Baylor was horrid against the run (200 yard/game allowed) with him in the middle. He only did 17 reps at 225 lbs. on the bench. I don't usually go for measureables, but a 6'1", 330 lb. NT should do a LOT better than 17 reps. I used to work out with 12-15 reps at 225 as a 5'8", 180 lb. 30+ year old. I'll pass.

    I am going for Coryell Judie, CB, Tex A&M. He is a prototypical physical zone corner in the mold that we like 'em.

    Baylor had an all around terrible defense, but Jean-Baptiste was throwing people all over at the senior bowl.

    Ok...so...if I'm adding things up right...

    Tandy, Judie and Stephenson all have 1 vote

    Baptiste has 4

    Hicks has 4

    So we're in a tie for the winner here. While I could throw in my vote...to break the tie...being the "man in charge" I don't want be the one to do it and make that call (as pretty much making it the pick I Want and all). And plus from the sites/etc I've looked at...they both seem similar and interchangeable...so I have no idea who I'd pick. Plus its almost 3am (just got home an hour ago) and my ears are still ringing from the concert...and I dont feel like looking into stuff/etc. So heres what I'll do...the next person who votes gets to decide who wins. Either Hicks or Baptiste...no other candidates can receive votes as of now...and nobody can change their current vote (if they already voted Hicks or Baptiste). Also if this next voter votes before I get on here (in the afternoon)...I will allow ANYONE to announce the Steelers selection (I know an added bonus...look out). I also have the Vikings pick via PM...but hey maybe NB will be on early and announce it himself...if not...I'll announce once I get on. Thanks guys...now I'm off to bed

    Hicks isn't gone. Winggin said Detroit picked him, but Detroit chose some safety instead. Think that screwed some people up. So its between Jean-Baptiste and Hicks, but the people who voted for Jean -Baptiste because they believed Hicks was already chosen should have a chance to change to Hicks.

    Haha....man o man...people believing the drunk GM...when he even said he wants the team that picks before the Steelers next year and we talked about how people take the Steelers picks. Also if it was an official selection it would have been posted in the Selections thread too.

    I guess I made a mistake last night and counted SBD's vote twice by accident (see I was warn out) and since nobody has cast just one vote to settle this (bunch of bums, haha)...with correcting the count...that should make it 4 for Hicks and 3 for Baptiste. So thats it...voting is over.

    Well, if it makes you feel better, your recommendation that PIT draft Stephenson had nothing to do with me taking him for Green Bay, other than make me happy that someone else thought he could be a good player. I've had my eye on him for a while now, and was considering him in the 4th, but figured he'd last to the 5th. He did.

    Huh? I didn't vulture anybody from the Steelers. I think you may be thinking of winggin...?

    I did trade up for Josh Chapman in the 4th, but that was like 15 picks before Pittsburgh, and I didn't get the idea from the voting pool.

    Dammit, you tripped my salivary glands. I'll vote for him too.

    I'd take him in the real draft with our 6th, but assuming we don't, I really hope he makes it to the end of the 7th, where we have 4 picks. If we pass on him there, we'll at least know that help is never, ever on the way and we can stop holding out hope. Well, I guess we can always hope that one of these TEs turned FB or WR-turned-TE-turned FB will actually be good at blocking. But that doesn't seem too likely. Then again, I guess if we do it enough times the odds are it'll happen eventually. Hopefully it won't take 20 years.
