    EDIT:

    Nick Jean-Baptiste, NT, Baylor
This is a guy that a lot are calling a sleeper because he wasn't at the combine, but he was bowling ppl over at the east-west shrine game. So he gets my vote.

Some others I liked at this pick (in case you guys don't wanna look up BPA)...
    Akiem Hicks, NT, Canada
    Hebron Fangupo, NT, BYU
    Bernard Pierce, RB, Temple
    Andrew Datko, OT, Florida St

At this point I think we need to go with best available player and not draft or reach due to want.

My choice for the 4th round pick is Robert Turbin, RB, Utah St. 5'10" 222lbs. I think this fills both need and BPA.

I stole the BPA IMO LOL...So I vote we go NT with Hicks just in case Hood can't put on the weight....

Actually, and just to argue, I would say that the best player available is Casey Hayward, CB, Vandi, who a lot of people have going late second/early third round.

I'd vote for Casey Hayward CB as best available player, NT is a need but I've seen both Jean-Baptiste and Akiem Hicks possibly 6-7 or even udfa. As far as RB's, I don't think Robert Turbin offers anything we don't already have in our backup RB's. Even though our roster was locked at the start, I believe McFadden before the start of our draft and Gay was a free agent.

I'm sacrificing on this one, FYI. I have the pick right after the Steelers and I need a CB, and Casey Heyward gets my vote as BPA

I dont think we can reach for a NT in this round. I also don't believe RB is as big of a need as some make it out to be.

I will put my official vote down for Casey Hayward, but Bill Bentley is not far behind, and might actually be the better corner, but I will go with Hayward's production and size.

I hear what you guys are saying.

Just keep in mind Mendy is probably done for the 2012 season and Moore is a free agent. So right now we are looking at Redman, Dwyer as the top two backs.

On the CB side, we drafted Brown and Cortez last year in the 3rd and 4th. Lewis in the 3rd of the 2009 draft and still have Taylor as a starter.

And if we draft defense, that would be 3 of our top 4 as defensive picks in a offensive minded league. Gosh, so hard, I'm glad I'm not Kevin Colbert.

Haha, eerily similiar to what we did last year. Defensive front seven, OLine and 2 DBs. Hmmm? Haha.

    Best O-Players left-
RB- Bernard Pierce (Possible 2nd round prospect)
    G- Tony Bergstrom
T- Andrew Datko or Levi Adcock
    TE- DeAngelo Peterson (LSU)
    WR- Marvin Jones (Cal)

Plus the choices of NT (Jean-Baptiste, Fangupo, Hicks) or CB- Casey Heyward.

But all in all, the two highest rated prospects are easily Heyward and Pierce.

This is a tough call. I think that Datko, Turbin and Pierce are all worthy of the BPA tag. I like Heyward's stats, but he is known to be a very weak tackler - kind of a drag-down type. That doesn't fit the mold of what we draft for DBs. However, there's no denying the interceptions. Coryell Judie from Tex A&M better fits our mold of a big, hard tackling zone corner.

I will cast my vote for Datko, but it's close.

I can't believe people want CB's. I think our secondary is very solid with Lewis, Allen, and Brown behind Ike. Meanwhile possibly the most important position on the defense has a 35 year old guy coming off ACL surgery.

The Steelers are on the clock and right now and Hayward is in the lead....but only by 4 votes...right now I have it as:

    Hayward 5
    Baptiste 1
    Hicks 1
    Datko 1
    Turbin 1

We'll let voting go on a little while longer...

I'd like to report a friggen spy in the fantasy draft... gpguy has been eaves dropping on our conversations about BPA... and he went and took one, thus reducing the steelers possibilities. :bscow: :bscow: :bscow: ..... btw this is a friggen joke... it's okay to laugh every once in awhile. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Pierce is out. Cleveland just took him. Going to change my vote. BPA is nice, but we need a nose and more o-line, and we have third and fourth round corners who barely saw the field last year.

My vote goes for Andrew Datko, OT. Lets keep Ben verticle for a change.

Datko will likely still be available in the 5-6th rounds, as much as I want OL help.... is it really necessary to pickup more crap guys like we already have? Datko played 4 games in 2011, that's it... rest of his time was on PUP.

Which is why he's fallen. Remember that he was the left tackle over Zebrie Sanders, who was drafted early 2nd round, before his injury.

How about Nate Porter OT Boise State, their OL ranked 1st in sacks given up last year.

damn, I thought it was porter... but it's potter. sheesh. too many adult beverages for me tonight. :rawk:

How about Matt Reynolds, OT BYU ??? He started all 52 games of his college career... and we need durability.

Also, my top WR prospect is Marvin Jones, WR, Cal... for those that are worried about our one trick pony wallace... Jones is very close to Wallace's speed at 4.46

Ok, I change my vote from Hayward to Matt Reynolds OT BYU. I like the guy, he's strong and reliable, something our OL has been lacking, even in our "stud" Pouncey.

    Hicks 1
    Baptiste 1
