The Detroit Lions still reeling from a most impressive trade pulled off by Freak and the Ravens select Christian Thompson, S, South Carolina State.

Missing out on our coveted RB we shift gears and complete our secondary. Thompson comes from a small school but is well versed as a Strong Safety.

With the 158th pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

    James Hanna, TE, Oklahoma

The 49ers are thrilled to once again find a total steal thanks to the other teams largely drafting based on WalterFootball's rankings. :lolol:

Mr. Hanna is a project who underproduced in college, but given his outstanding size and speed -- 6'4", 252 lbs., 5 more reps than Mike Adams and a 40 yard dash time of 4.49 -- we feel his upside is tremendous and warrants a pick as high as the 2nd round. We already have an amazing team of receiving tight ends in Vernon Davis and Delaney Walker, but we feel Hanna is too good to pass up. He has tools that match the very best tight ends in the league. He will serve as third tight end and learn from the starters, and will be ready to start whenever the time finally comes.

    49ers 2012 Draft:

    1. Alshon Jeffery, WR
    2. Philip Blake, C
    3. Chase Minnifield, CB
    4a. Josh Chapman, NT
    4b. Derek Wolfe, DE
    5. James Hanna, TE

Greater than, Less than, or Equal to:

    1. Lynn Swann, WR
    2. Jack Lambert, LB
    4. John Stallworth, WR
    5. Mike Webster, C

Please discuss...... in the other thread I guess.

    The Bengals select...

    Evan Rodriguez, TE, Temple

This guy could be a steal this late, and I'm hoping the Steelers may take a look to replace D.Johnson in the real draft. His head coach was the OC at Florida when Aaron Hernandez was there, and they were both used in a very similar fashion in college.

    via PM:

With the 160th pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select:

    Ryan Miller, OL, Colorado

It should be noted that since drafting Coby Fleener, Lamar Miller, Nate Potter, Audie Cole, and somehow stealing Ryan Broyles, the NY management has already declared 2012 a Super Bowl winning season, and therefore don't even need to bother drafting more players. However, Mr. Miller intrigues us as a prospect, and will battle for positions at both guard positions as well as RT. We expect him to seemingly come out of nowhere and take the league by storm in 2015.

    ----------------------

Oakland is up (which anyone can pick for) with comp pick J w/ Balt and Indy on deck (to finish out the round)
