With the 126th selection of the 2012 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers were caught off guard and will be headed to bed soon, and they are stoked to find a 2nd round prospect still on the board in:

    Derek Wolfe, DE, Cincinnati

It's entirely possible he has been taken and we didn't notice, as was what happened when we tried to draft Mitchell Schwartz a minute ago. But if he has been, screw it, someone else pick for us because we're not doing this again right now. Anyhoo... Wolfe will compete for playing time right away, and may even push for the starting job right away. He will be the heir apparent to Justin Smith when he retires. This could go down as the steal of the 2012 draft.

The New England Patriots are on the clock.

With the 128th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the New York Giants finally select a defensive player:

Audie Cole, LB, North Carolina State

Mr. Cole will compete for spots inside and outside to begin his career, and if he can't start on as a rookie, he will backup all three positions and be a star special teams player. We figure to start him at some point in 2012 and he will be a pillar of our defense by 2013. The New York Giants continue their stellar, amazing, unstoppable draft, possibly the greatest in history, only challenged by this year's San Francisco 49ers, who we acknowledge are also having the greatest draft in NFL history.

    Minnesota is on the clock.

Well, it's been a while since the last pick, so let's keep rolling...

With the C pick of the 4th round, the Oakland Raiders select Josh Kaddu, OLB, Oregon. The raiders were in need of 2 OLB's, which they have used their first 2 picks to take care of their glaring need.

I believe Baltimore is next on the clock.

With the 36th pick of the 4th round in the 2012 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select:

    Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma

The Giants are once again ecstatic to find a great player available who should have gone two rounds earlier. We feel that Mr. Broyles will be the next Victor Cruz, minus the bonehead mistakes. He will step into the #3 role and immediately become one of the best slot receivers in the league. He will push for time against formidable players Hicks, Cruz, and Fleener. With those four players, plus the addition of Lamar Miller in the backfield and Nate Potter in the mix on the offensive line, the New York Giants humbly accept the Super Bowl 47 Lombardi trophy.

The Green Bay Packers are on the clock for back to back picks.

w/ pick I the Cowboys select:

    Tyrone Crawford, DE, Boise State

Now its time to work on bolstering the DL and we felt Tyrone was a steal here at this spot in the draft.

    ------------------

    Round 5 begins...

Indy is on the clock (w/ Philly on deck)...

with the holiday weekend i was too worried about getting on people for stuff...but remember as i've said before...anyone can pick for a team whos time is up if they want to...or just do as they do in the real NFL draft and skip them and move on.

and I do not have Phillys #1 pick anymore....only their #2...I deleted some earlier msgs from you and it doesnt even show that first one in the history...not sure why...in the past i've never had that problem...sorry!

Just somebody pick...Indy, Philly or MN...all are up lets just say!

I'll go ahead and pick for Indy...

Miles Burris, OLB, San Diego State

Indy is switching to a 3-4 defense and need to re-haul pretty much the entire defense to fit that, and the defense has gone largely unnoticed in this draft other than NT (a good start), so more needs to be grabbed. At this point Burris is a project, but probably the best left.

w/ pick 132 the Browns select:

    Shaun Prater, CB, Iowa

Much needed depth at the CB position...and if Prater can eventually start for us...even better.
