also with the 67th pick I gave MN

    Tommy Streeter*, WR, Miami

    --------------------------

After comparing WR rankings on a couple sites it was between him and Chris Givens as the next best available from what I could find...and I figured Ponder would like a tall/etc target since he already has Harvin who is a smaller/faster guy.

Hope the GM is ok with this.
    -----------------------------

The Redskins are on the clock...but as I posted in the main thread...we're kinda taking things easy today and not clock watching/etc...so not big rush...enjoy the holiday!

with the 68th pick in the NFL Draft the Washington Redskins take:

    Josh Robinson, CB, UCF

Need some talent in the secondary and this guy has been rising up the boards. He is a steal in the 3rd round!

With the 74th pick the Chicago Bears select Nick Toon WR Wisconsin. With new GM Noitall0605 and his philosophy of not paying a WR for having a good QB the Bears are now filling one of their needs at great value.

Kansas City is now on the clock....

With the 75th pick, the Chefs pick Brandon Mosley, OT, Auburn. We feel that he is a GREAT value and fills a definite need the franchise has. The Seahawks are now on the clock

with the 76th pick the Seahawks select:

    Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State

Since I have taken over the Seahawks as GM their biggest need has been QB...but with nobody available worth the previous 2 picks...it was time to pull the trigger and take the best QB currently available. 3 big needs filled with the first 3 picks.

    -------------------

    Houston is on the clock

With the 77th pick in the 2012 draft the Houston Texans select Trevor Guyton DE Cal.

Trevor will allow maximum flexibility along the defensive front because he can play inside or outside and will give the Texans some much needed depth. The Texans now feel that they can field multiple defensive looks and be effective in each.

The Jets are on the Clock.

With the 78th pick, the NY Jets take Isaiah Peas, RB Cincinnati.

Jets need to take some pressure off the passing game and Sanchize.

Well, seeing as 8 hours have expired since the Bears' pick, and since I will probably not be able to be on again to pick for Tennessee until tomorrow evening, I am going to make my selection for Tennessee at #84

With the 84th pick, the Titans select Brandon Boykin, CB, Georgia

Arizona and Dallas are still on the clock...

Yes. That is how it works.

If there are three guys between you and your next pick, and you won't be around for a couple of days, send 4 picks over to gpguy, in the order you want them. Then you'll get your guy, and we don't have to go out of order.

As a reminder I did announce that round 3 would be extended to 10 hours per pick not 8...just an FYI.

    -----------------------------

with the 82nd pick in the MB Mock the Cardinals select:

    Chris Givens, WR, Wake Forest

We could have went 2 different positions with this pick we felt this was the best option for us right now. We needed more help at WR and this will give Kolb another solid weapon. While it was a tough decision as far as what WR to take...studying many sites/etc...Givens seemed like a good pick here for the most part.

    ----------------------------------

w/ the 83rd pick in the MB Mock the Cowboys select:

    Ben Jones, C, Georgia

Continuing to rebuild the Cowboys OL...which is now almost complete. Jones still being here was too good too pass up on...no other position of need had the value here that Jones presented.

    ------------------------

    Cincy is on the clock...

With the 89th pick of the 2012 Draft the Dertoit Lion draft Bobby Wagner, LB, Utah St.

With the need at oline addressed in the first round and our secondary and running game in a 2nd round trade. The next priority was to stop a porous run defense. With Wagner the value was too great to pass up. He can play both inside and out. A tackling machine that will help out the run d possibly from day one.

    Minn is on the clock.
